#BlindDateWithABook is Back! Have you ever been on a blind date with a book? Our booksellers have carefully selected some of our favorite titles, including fiction & non-fiction books for 4th-6th graders and young adults. We've wrapped them up, so you are not able to see the title or the cover and have labeled them with clues like "magical," “1940s France,” "very intricate pocket watches,” “LGBTQ,” or “zombies,” written on the front to lead you in your selection, you will then choose a book that sounds amazing to you, buy it, take it home, and unwrap your date! For every "date" you bring home, you can enter our raffle to win a special prize. The raffle winner will be chosen on February 28th. Come in, browse, and have fun finding your new favorite book! Beginning this Saturday: 10/1 at 11AM - LaQuette discussing and signing copies of VANESSA JARED'S GOT A MAN. 10/3 at 6PM - The Mercer Museum and Penguin Publishing invite you to find a new path of adventure on Monday, October 3rd at 6:00 PM to celebrate the release of “The Legend of the Lost Boy", the 3rd book in the popular graphic novel series The Pathfinder's Society. Festivities will be held at the Mercer Museum & Fonthill Castle in Doylestown, PA, and will include an informative discussion and Q&A with the authors Francesco Sedita and Prescott Seraydarian, followed by an exclusive Pathfinder's-themed scavenger hunt throughout the amazing and mysterious pathways of the Mercer Museum. 10/5 at 6PM - Rita Cameron discussing and signing copies of THE HOUSE PARTY. 10/14 at 6PM - Lisa Regan discussing and signing copies of HER FINAL CONFESSION. 10/19 at 6PM - Fright Night YA Panel. YA authors Amy Christine Parker, Christina Farley, Vivi Barnes, and Diana Rodriguez Wallach as they discuss their current books and everything horror. 10/22 at 1PM - Local author Billy Polard hosts (right after Doylestown's Spooktacular Parade) a special children's Halloween event. Billy will be reading from The Undead Adventures of Bone Boy and Ghost Girl and Bone Boy and Ghost Girl meet Dead Dog, will be bringing coloring pages, and will have original artwork available for sale. Children are encouraged to attend dressed in their Halloween costumes. 10/29 at 11AM - Lolly Hopwood hosts a very special Halloween storytime. What a night! We had an amazing time with @elinhilderbrand during @bucksbookfest’s opening keynote event. Elin was in conversation with Festival founder @ellestagreen and met with fans to sign books and take photos.
