The sun will forever keep rising

Lunch today: vegan "chicken" salad, topped with every seed ever imaginable, one giant grapefruit, and kombucha. I'm on the mend over here! Been dealing with a bad head cold brought on by the changing seasons. I think I'm on the tail end of this crud though. It's amazing how much better I feel when I'm eating healthy.

Today, my childhood companion and confidante, Babs, traded in 15 years of life on this earth for an eternity in doggy heaven. Anyone who has known me over the last decade knows just how much I love this dog (and probably love her more than they love me.) Babs was the only source of comfort through some of the darkest years of my childhood when I had nobody else to turn to - I'll forever be grateful for her companionship. She was such a good dog. While most people describe doggy heaven as a big, giant, fenceless farm in the sky, I know Babs is probably up there lazily sunbathing and letting all the other dogs do the hard work of squirrel chasing for her. That's just her style. One thing's for sure, I'm going to miss her terribly. 🐶🌈⛅️💕 “Dogs are the leaders of the planet.
