“Robert.”

“Huh?” He looks over at the sound of his name—and sinks into the sudden kiss, melting away. Robert feels the heady rush of excitement and arousal, exacerbated by the alcohol in his system. Calloused scarred fingers tickle the hard line of his jaw, flirting with his earlobe.

A thought occurs to him: Robert pushes up off the ledge, so that he can throw a leg over Flambae’s lap, and sinks down against him. Flambae cups his ass, thumbing mindlessly along the small of his back.

So Robert's a biter. Obviously, see Fight Scene at The Sardine. But like, he bites for multiple reasons, I've decided. For smexy reasons of course, and Flambae is into that (there will always be a part of him that remembers the man who lost his thumb, that he shoves down because he doesn't wanna unpack how that makes him MORE hot and heavy for the feral bastard).

But really there's no denying that Robert has a Cuteness Aggression Instinct that Flambae has suffered the teeth of...literally.

He's cooking egg sandwiches for them in the morning, wearing a tshirt and sweats, and doesn't even think of the fact that Robert comes over and loops his arms around his waist until-

"OW! Fucker! What the hell did you bite me for??"

"Sorry. You're too cute," the sleepy shark snuggling into his back replies.

"Wh-I'm-So you bit me?"

"Mm-hm. Can I have tomatoes on my sandwich?"

"Can-NO BITCH BITERS DON'T GET TOMATOES!"

He puts tomatoes on Robert's sandwich when he shuffles away to feed Beef but WHAT the fuck?!

Then it happens again.

Theyre cuddled on the couch, Robert facing Chad's chest because he couldn't care less about the housewives from whatever state Chad is investing in now. And Chad laughs at something on the tv and Robert watches him under his long faun eyelashes and then -

"JESUS FUCK ROBERT!!"

This time he openly denies he did in fact bite Flambae on the tit with that shit eating smirk Chad hates to love until the firestarter decides he has no choice but to drag him to bed to give him something to REALLY bite him about.

"Alice!" Flambae consults the only one he's not embarrassed to talk to about this kind of stuff. At this point it's become more regular for Robert to take a nibble off him, always when he leasts expects it.

"Oh yeah, the aggression," Prism snickers. "Freaked Hermy out when I did it to him the first time too."

"You bite Waterboy? And he doesn't cry?"

"Look, Bae, sometimes you just get so overwhelmed by how adorable something is to you that you gotta like, fight some instinct to go ape shit. Like when moms get together and talk about wanting to eat their babies."

"Bob-Bob wants to eat me?"

"Oh honey, that boy wants to devour you. It'll probably hit you too at some point."

Chad isn't convinced until one morning he wakes up tucked into Robert's arm, looking up to watch the light of the sunrise spill across his freckled face, highlighting his lashes. Robert's holding him like a 1st place stuffed animal, and his face is smooshed into the pillow, and fuck it's the cutest thing Chad has ever seen.
