“i’ve got a little proposition for ya if you’re interested,” sloane proclaims loudly as she approaches the other, filling the air around them with the heavy smell of grease. “i’ll provide you with a generous dinner of pizza & beer, if & only if, you agree to be my adventure pal for the night.”  holding the box and six pack out of reach, the girl adds, “there’s a catch, though, ‘cause everything’s always got a fuckin’ catch – you can’t ask any questions ‘bout what the night entails. let’s be honest,” the girl chuckles, “i’m not quite sure yet what’ll happen ‘cause spontaneity is key to a successful night. you’re either in or you’re out, bud.” looking expectantly at her hopeful companion, sloane opens the pizza box, pulling out a slice in order to tempt the other. “so what’ll it be? mischief & grease, or boredom & hunger?”

    —  ❀   “ uh.... that entirely depends what the proposition is. “ cleo said softly with a smile. she tilted her head to the side as she pursed her lips together,  “ as much as i love pizza.... i don’t really like beer.  “ she said in reply to the other. she never did well with interacting with others. it wasn’t her strong suit, “ but an adventure could be fun. as for the not asking questions, i mean... i normally am one to ask all the questions but i guess i’ll be fine without asking any tonight. “ she smiled once more and shrugged her shoulders.
