The Hellish Story

Lucien entered the ‘gathering’ room to see Azami was sitting at the table, scribbling away “So you’re going through with it?” He had heard earlier that she was going to marry Lucifer son, Faolon to further their alliance. He didn’t believe it. He hoped it was just gossip. “I have no choice” He frowned as he stood across from her “You do have a choice sweetheart. You always have a choice” He watched as her sapphire eyes finally met his. “If I don’t do this, our alliance might not exist. I do not want to risk Stella being separated from you” He frowned now “There is plenty of other ways to go about an alliance. If you do not want to marry him, you do not have to. You have a voice and a choice. What’s going to happen when you wake up next to him and realize you made a mistake?” She was still staring at him, but he could see the wheels turning “That.. Lucien, That doesn’t matter. Plenty of people get married without love. I already told him we are doing this for the alliance. Nothing else.” Now Lucien sat across from her. He had to admit it felt like his heart was breaking at the realization that the one he loved the most was now going to be unavailable completely “I always hoped we’d always be” He watched as broke their eye contact to stare at the scroll she was previously writing on.

“I’m sorry Lucien, but maybe this is a sign we should just move on. From each other. What we had was in the past and it should stay there”

He stood quickly, slamming his hands on the table. It was like something within him snapped. “The past!? The time we spent together meant nothing to you? The nights, the evenings, the walks, the talks, creating our beautiful star, meant nothing!?” Lucien never lost control. He never took things seriously nor did he care to. But the thought of losing Azami, his previous partner and mother to his child was causing him to lose that battle within himself. “I never said it didn’t mean anything!”

Azami had now shot up from her seat to glare at Lucien. “How dare you assume it meant nothing! You meant everything to me! Before we had Stella and after! You meant so much to me! How dare you assume the worst of me! I’m not like Nyxie or Oceania! I loved you more than anything. I was willing to give up so much for you!”

Tears were sliding down her cheek as Lucien stared, the black ooze that was causing his eyes to turn black had halted in overtaking his vision fully. He shook his head as he hung his head. The ooze was now seeping out of his eyes like black tears. “I made this choice for my kingdom safety and to strengthen Lunaris Alliance with Hell. I am not going to let you interfere with that!”

The noise from the chair moving got Lucien to look up as Azami had walked away from where she was sitting. She had gathered her scrolls and stormed out the room. The scent of tears following behind her.

He cursed himself.

The festivities of the night was loud, deafening even. But the two twins, the stars of the night, watched with a smile on their face. Their fathers trial and death was not going to ruin their celebration of finally being in power. At least, celebration of Balthassar officially being crowned king. There were whispers of the two princesses marrying finally now that their dad was gone.

“So what I’m saying is I try my luck with the actual king of Hell” Blue eyes stared at Aria who was only nodding her head “He’s ancient!” Now eyes were on the smaller sibling, Calliope as she put her hands on her hips “Plus, that’s weird? That’s Lector’s dad!” “okay? If I’m going to be queen of something, I want to be queen of Hell. Think of the good that’ll come out of it? A better relationship with him and a way to apologize for our father attempted coup.” She was nodding again “You’re not his type” All eyes turned as Lector, the prince of Hell appeared next to them “how would you know?” He finally reached the trio as they stood to the side, still in view of the guest but close to each other so their conversation couldn’t be heard. “If anyone should know, it’s me. The fuck you mean how would I know? Not to mention the last person he loved died” The twins glanced at each other “So? She’s dead so I can make my move. He’s single?” Lector had now smacked his own face with a groan “Yes. Yes single but he’s not interested in anyone Aria. Take my word for it. He hasn’t had interest in anyone since his fall and since the death of Eve and Lilith”

Aria now stuck her tongue out “It won’t hurt to try and flirt with the king” Choking noise was heard so their eyes turned to Balthassar who was coughing “I can’t believe you even said that” Eyes were back on Lector “If not your dad, maybe your brother?” All eyes were now on Calliope who was smiling “We gotta go down the line, right?” “He’s out of the question” Aria blinked “he’s gay?” eyes turned to Aria again “No! He’s also not on the market” “So he’s counted for?” Eyes turned to Balthassar who was chewing something as he spoke “No? Last I Heard. Look, go after whoever you want. Just not those two.”

“Doesn’t Lucifer have another son? What’s his name? is he on the market?” Eyes turned to Calliope once more “Uh.. Faolon? He might do..Actually he’s around here” Eyes stared at Lector who was looking around “Think I have a chance?” Lector now turned back to Aria “What has gotten into you? Since when are you this boy crazy?” now Aria crossed her arms “Excuse me? I’m not boy crazy. I’m just thinking of my kingdom. Balthassar needs to find himself a queen and I need to find myself a prince or a king. We need to start thinking of the future and our line of succession. We need powerful allies and those who can offer armies in case we are in need” Aria had turned to Balthassar who only nodded “We cannot be childish anymore Lector. We have to make claim, and we have to fulfill our duties. If it wasn’t for Kohaku, I’d say we could sort out you and Aria being together, but I won’t do that to my best friend.”

Balthassar smiled as he watched Lector nod slightly “Look, even if I wasn’t with her, I don’t think I’d be willing to be with you Aria. No offense” He watched as Lector eyes had turned to Aria with a small smile who only glared “None taken” He laughed lightly as he clapped Lector shoulder “So you’re going to help us try and get Aria and Prince Faolon then?” He watched as the red and green eyes returned to scanning the crowd “I guess. I won’t make any promises. Faolon was married and exiled not too long ago. So he might not be interested in moving into something new so quickly.”

Though demons themselves, their horns and wings remain hidden. Only when they lose control do these things come out. {UPDATE: The 7 do not have wings, but they keep their horns hidden.}

The creation of hell came from Crystalis, a jealous goddess.

With acceptance of their defeat, the power and ruling of Hell was given to Lucifer, who deemed himself as the royal bloodline of Hell and had made many questionable changes during his control.

Each sin has their marking to further prove their status within Hell, but they too are not shown as easily - Mostly shown when control is lost, and they revert to their animalistic forms. {UPDATE: The markings are very present and can be seen on their face, around their eyes}

Rhinxe was in love with an angel called Astrania/Astra once upon a time, but due to her attempt to kill him & take over as ‘god’ of Hell, ended their relationship and kicked her out of his life. {UPDATE: Astra gets killed by Abyssia and Rhinxe moves onto being in love with a incubi called Koryu}

Zyn had feelings for an angel named Kali, but she also along with Astra tried to kill Rhinxe, lost feelings for her and was happy she was kicked out for good. {UPDATE: Kali is killed off by Abyssia after she claims to be related to the ethereal goddess. Zyn has no love interest}

Kiono, Anthren, Kolu, Naeji do not have a relationship status

Rhinxe has taken a strong interest in Koryu & Lucien has a questionable relationship with a person named Kale. {UPDATE: Rhinxe and Koryu are together. Lucien is questionable with Kale after Azami breaks off theire relationship}

Since Azami returned to the living & to Lunaris - a surprise to all, she agreed to a relationship with the prince of Hell called Faolon/Fang. She holds no love for him, nor any full interest in him, but agreed to having him as more of a trophy husband to please the people who request a ‘king’

Lector Kain, after years of abuse from Nyxie, lost interest in love overall and hasn’t found anyone worth the time and effort. At one point he did hook up with Azami, but that was weird for both, so it was a mutual split- Then years later hooked up with Stella, not realizing she was Azami's daughter. They weren’t crazy about each other, just desperate for some form of affection. Once he found out who she was, they mutually broke up and remain friends {UPDATE: He ends up having a relationship with Kohaku. The weird instance of Azami and Stella have been fully erased from his story and never happened :> }

Stella's ongoing interest has been Sid, her traveling companion but after a few visits home to see her mother & sister, she took notice of him showing his interest in Yuna, not her {UPDATE: Sid name is changed to Jericho}

The story of various demons within Hell, mostly revolves around the 7 of hell, The royal family of hell and Lector kain.

Crystalis was trapped within a gem due to Abyssia, out of desperation as she too was trapped within another realm we know as limbo but all demons called Eternity. {UPDATE: Now called The Abyss/ Abyssial realm}

The gods still hold some form of resentment for the outcome of it, but because Lucifer and those that fell with him were the highest of angels and showed to be quite powerful, they were unable to fully defeat them. Not to mention the gods were still young technically and were not fully aware of their full potentials let alone capable of fighting off the fallen.

The 7 gods had control of the hell with no remorse and many strict rules. However, when Lucifer fell and those tied to him, they used the last of their angelic force/Power to take over.

There are 3 gates of hell {UPDATE There's actually 7 gates}

All demons are created with a black gem {UPDATE: Color depends on demon race/species}

Only Rhinxe can touch/smash/judge and give new life to a demon

Almost every fruit/food known in hell hold certain amount of poison

There are 2 sister demon plagues that are known to kill demons and countless of others that just cause mere sickness {Use to be called Kuckreanod. UPDATE: No longer called this}

Female demons are scarce, but they're known

There are 7 demon brothers who make up the council {UPDATE: There's 6 males & 1 Female}

No demon has free will {UPDATE: Free will to an extent, but still has to follow the laws of Hell/ Lucifer/ Gods of Hell}

Hell isn't as hot as one would expect, nor is fire always present (Lava, volcanoes, ect)

Most demons created have sensitive eyes to light

Demons don't believe in the soul mate line, or ties

Vampires, dark elves, half-bloods, mix bloods are seen as vermin to full blooded demons {UPDATE: Compared to demons that Rhinxe created, they are seen as the lowest of the lows and do not hold a rank within Hell}

There are 5 ranked demons (King/queen, advisor/second in command, Strategist, Army general, High ranked soldier)

Each ranked demon holds a tattoo that shows their rank {UPDATE: Only Gods of Hell have a marking/Tattoo}

7 Hell gods of Hell - Created and known as the 7 sins of hell, these 7 are more of a council to the royals of hell. Rarely interfere unless they are sought after.

Many demons do not believe in monogamy and it’s rather normal for most to have more than 1 partner. {UPDATE: It varies between species of demons. Some are monogamous while others aren't}

The demon ranks from highest to lowest: Council/God, King/Queen, Prince/Princess, General (Military) Second in command Strategist, Soldier, Rebel, Vermin.

Most vegetation within hell is poisonous to eat, only to be consumed by those who are unaffected by it - ie Kolu. {UPDATE: There are some species of demons that are able to eat the vegetation, but those are rare}

There are 7 gates of hell, each watched over by Gargoyles and Anthren, though he mostly keeps watch of the last one.

When demons are created, they are generally created male - Until they possibly choose to change their gender. Females actually created/Given life are considered rare.

Hell has an uncontrolled weather pattern.

First created by Crystalis as the demon life source, passed onto Rhinxe when he was created.

Varies in colors and sizes based of demon species

Changes colors when demons go against Hell's codes/Laws

Cracks are created the same way

No one can touch these gems or have access to these gems.

Abyssia, Rhinxe, Crystalis are the only ones capable of touching/ seeing these gems seeing how they are GODS.

There is one species of Incubi/Succubus that have their soul gems on their tail

STRICTLY HELL and no other realm/species have these.

Feathers of Heaven

Eldryn creates angels from the feather on their head and breathes life into them.

Only the heavenly guardian/God can see/ touch these feathers

each feather is pure white and perfect looking

When an angel goes against the will of Eldryn, the feather will shift to grey and will slowly deteriorate (Think of when an actual feather when its wet and it looks weird or its missing pieces when you pull at its strands)

STRICTLY heaven and no other realm/Species have these.

Starlings of Lunaris

Only those truly devoted to Unera, becomes starlings

starlings are as they sound, very tiny stars that become any race/species life source/soul when they're fully devoted to the moon goddess

Only Unera can see/ grant life to a new starling

Starlings have complete free will (Compared to Heaven and Hell, it is the best option)

Once one becomes a starling, the person can't return to their old home realm.

Mortals & beasts of Earth

Humans/Mortals are molded by Gaia from the dirt/Mud of earth.

Keon the wandering beasts creates the beast of the living (Animals basically) from Gaia's dirt by molding it into a 'beast' and adding their hair to it to give it life.

Gaia breathe life into these mortals/humans which creates tiny wisps of sorts to be their soul

Both Mortal/Humans and beasts have free will, though many beasts choose to become obedient to a human.

humans, though given free will tend to put their faith and worship into various gods. In most case its Gaia or Eldryn, Other times its Lucifer, called Satan depending on who you ask or other minor gods {Greek/Norse/Egyptian/ the list goes on}.

The gods of respected religion are created by the mortal undying faith and belief, but they respect Gaia enough to not become an issue to her. She can be seen on occasions meeting with these other gods to see how the mortals are doing.

As long as her mortals are happy, she is happy to share her powers and knowledge with the other gods.

When the mortal dies, Gaia is the one to decide where their soul will ultimately go. If they follow Eldryn/Heaven's beliefs, she sends them there. The souls are sent to Hell if Eldryn/Angels decide they are too impure. If the mortals have a different belief, they will be sent to where they belong. i.e. if someone follows the Greek/Norse/Hindu/Etc faith, those respected gods are given the souls to handle.

Keon beast always return to the sanctuary when they live their life fully or pass due to unforeseen circumstances. In the eyes of every God, no animal can do wrong.
