Nearly every scene could be framed as a painting. An era of true art. So, naturally, I fused the highest art with A SLOTH VAMPIRE. I tried to push the mood here. I've always loved the idea of Dracula forming from the mist. Then disappearing like wet sand. He's part of the land and the air and eventually, you the victim 😰 At night. ✨"The Dying Artist, The Last Friend", 1901, painted by Zigmunt Andrychiewicz✨ IT ME. Or however the kids say it these days. I'm sure you've seen the movie "E.T." 🚲 You know the part where he's gray and near death, lying lifeless in the mud and rain, nearly all of his life force drained? Yeah... that was me this year. I gave all of my life force to others. And failed to refuel. Leaving me uninspired. Unemotional. Unhappy. 3 things that are VERY foreign to me. Last year was filled with pain and sorrow and heartbreak (along with good stuff too. Nothing is ever ALL bad). Ironically, the pain and sorrow came from others around me. Friends. Family. Random people. And after giving everything i had in my being to help these people in need... I simply collapsed. . So I stepped back a bit. Surrendered to the struggle. Seeked out therapy. Did my best to engage with myself and my heart. Just like in this gorgeous painting, I sat quietly in my bed and listened to death play his fiddle. . Friends contacted me and asked where the f**k I had been. So many beautiful people asking me how I was doing. We spoke and messaged and I began to recharge. And I'll continue to recharge. So I can continue to refuel others in need; and so I can refuel myself. . After all, we've made it another year. My friends and family members who were in pain are recovering. And thriving. My baby Maya is STILL ALIVE Y'ALL! Freaking superdoggy 🐶💪 I feel an energy out there. It's shifting. We've had all the negativity we can handle. And we are done with it. It's time to refuel each other. To be inspired. Thank you to everyone who's reached out or asked me where the f**k I disappeared to lol. You rule 💞 We are all in this together.
