Today was a busy day at work. But you were already expecting that, it wasn’t a surprise for you at all since today is a special date for koreans, it was kinda like Valentine’s day there, so a lot of couples come to celebrate there at your pastry shop “Bites of heaven”.

You were at the counter when you heard the bell of the front door. Someone just entered…

“Eoseo…” you started to say automatically but you didn’t finish. You stopped immediately when you saw that smile. That bright perfect smile.

It was Mino.

“Hey” he says, walking towards you. With his “seductive” smile, now well known by you.

“What are you doing here?” you said genuinely happy to see him. He leaned forward, resting his hands on the counter “Do you have a minute?” he keeps smiling at you.

You look around and then you said “I’m working”. Mino does the same thing you did before, he looked around and then he bends a little bit more, getting really close to you “Good thing you are your own boss” he smiles and winks at you. 

You brushed your hair off of your face, smiling and rolling your eyes, while Mino just keep smiling.

You looked at one of the girls who works for you at the pastry, calling for her with a gesture of your hand. 

Mino smiles even more than before. 

“Can you be in charge just for a couple of minutes?” you asked her when she was at your side. “Sure” she answered right away, you smiled at her, and then you went to the other side of the counter where Mino was waiting for you.

Once you were in front of him, he just smiled at you, and moved his head in a quick move, looking at the tables behind you. You got it right away, so you started to walk towards that direction.

Both of you sat at one of the tables, one in front of the other. “I thought you were out of the city” you said. “I was… I just came back a few hours ago” his stare was so different than usual, it was a lot more intense.

“Ohhh…” you looked at your nails, nervously. 

“You look pretty” he said suddenly.

“Shut up… I look exactly like always” you looked away. 

“Exactly” Mino smiled.

When he said that you felt your soul leaving your body.

“What’s up with you today?…” you could feel your cheeks getting hotter, a sign that you were blushing “… you are acting really weird”. Finally Mino stops looking at you and he looks down at his hands on the table. It seems like he was thinking of something.

“Can I ask you something?” Mino said after a few eternal seconds.

“Sure” you said a little bit scared. “You are my friend, right?” you weren’t expecting that question so you blinked a couple of times before answer “Yes I am”

Mino smiled as those words came out of your mouth “I don’t want that anymore”

“What?” you were so confused by now. And it didn’t help, the fact that he stood up, walked and sat right next to you, after he said that.

“I don’t want to be your friend anymore” his words does not match with the look on his face.

“Mino…” you slowly shook your head “… I’m not understanding”

He looked at you, and then his expression changed completely “Oh! I almost forgot…” he looked for something in his bag “… I brought you something” he took out a gift, and he gave it to you.

“What is this?” you said, looking at the gift and then at him. “Open it” he smiled.

You did, it was a book or that’s what you thought at first. Then you open it, and you realize it was… 

“An album?”

“I like you Y/N… a lot…” Mino says, making you turned your face to look at him “…I don’t want us to be just friends anymore…”

You two have a special relationship…

You can’t called that a friendship, but also it wasn’t a romantic relationship, it was something in between. The perfect words to describe it was friends with benefits.

You two liked each other, from the moment you met but neither of you wanted to have a relationship. Both have busy lives, he with his career and you with the pastry so you ended up in this relationship where you’d spend a lot of your free time together but without attachments.

But that wasn’t working for him anymore… not in the last few weeks.

It seems like the more time he spends with you, and the more he gets to know you, it was harder for him not to get involved with you.

“…it was your fault, you know?” he says. “My fault?”

Mino’s beautiful smile appears again, while he nods, making your heart pumping a lot more.

“You make me impossible not to feel something for you…”

You felt like your chest was about to explode.

“…what I’m saying is that…” now he was the one who was feeling nervous “… I would love to call you my girlfriend from now on”

Mino was looking for your answer in your face, you weren’t looking at him, so you make things a lot more difficult for him.

“Are you sure about that?” you said looking at Mino, but then, again, maintaining eye contact with him was extremely difficult for you so you looked down. “I am but… how about you?”

“Me?” you looked at him again. 

“Are you willing to be with me? I mean, in a serious relationship now” you have never seen him this serious before.

After an eternal silence you said “I… I need to think about it” that’s your honest answer. 

Mino just smiled and nods sadly.

“I get it” he says.

“Just give me some time to think about it" the last thing you wanted it’s to hurt his feelings. He was always being so kind with you. 

“Don’t worry…” he says, trying to comfort you “… I completely understand” 

You two talked for a couple of minutes when the guys appeared through the door. 

It was Seunghoon and Jinwoo… 

“Hey…” Seunghoon says at Mino “… I knew you’d be here” 

“Hi Y/N” Jinwoo says with his particular kind smile. 

“Hi guys” you said at them.

“What are you doing here?” Mino asked them. “Did you forget?!” Seunghoon says way too loud. “He did…” Jinwoo said after a Mino didn’t answer. 

“We have tickets remember?… the premiere?” Seunghoon add.

“Oh! Right!” Mino says. 

“Well we need to go now…” Seunghoon said, and then he looks at you “… do you wanna come?”

Mino’s eyes were wide open. 

“Sorry I have a lot of things to do… maybe next time” you said.

Seunghoon smile just like Jinwoo. While Mino was showing no emotions.

And then they leave the store. 

Mino was really sad about your answer. He really thought the feelings were mutual. He was about to enter Jinwoo’s car when you yelled at him.

“Wait!… take these” you give him a box filled with his favorite cupcakes. 

“You didn’t have to” he says shyly, but still a little bit hurt.

“I like you too Mino…” you said “… the answer is yes…” you smiled “… I would love to be your girlfriend”

“I thought…” he was shocked, happy but shocked. “I said I needed to think about it, and I did. I never said how much time would take, right?” you were so happy, but not as much as Mino.

He licks his lips and smirks at you, before he turned to the car and says through the window “I’ll stay, I’ll see you later”

“Oh! Its ok, you don’t have to…” you stopped in the middle of your sentence when you saw him, taking a step closer to you, and when he was close enough he tucks a lock of hair behind your ear and then he kissed you. 

That wasn’t your first kiss, but it felt like that.

“Wait” he says, breaking the kiss suddenly. And then he took out his phone. 

“What are you doing?” you asked him.

Little side note: This scenario is not mine, all the credit is to my lovely friend whom I absolutely love with all of my heart. I talked about her before, saying that, she always helps me when Im stuck or run out of ideas. She is absolutely the best and as you can see, we kinda have the same style of writing. Also I didn’t know if she wanted me to say this or not but I didn’t really like the idea of me taking the credit of this so… hahaha I hope she doesn’t get mad at me. But you won’t, right? right?!

“Cut! It was perfect as always Y/N and good job too Seungyoon” yelled the director. A small, chubby man in his forties.

“The first episode will air in two weeks and the premier is tomorrow…” he looks around to meet everyone’s eyes “… I hope you are all ready for it, well, good job for today, let’s see each other tomorrow”

Yoon and you have been chosen to act in this new “romance” web-drama…

At first you did not like the idea of this drama, and it’s not because you hate romance or because Yoon is the main actor, actually both of you are really good friends and have a gold chemistry in the screen, which is one of the many reason why the two of you were cast together. The reason why you were against this drama was… Mino.

By nature he is really jealous and protective, so to know that his girlfriend was going to play in a romance pissed him off, especially when he knew with whom you were going to play, but with some aegyo you managed to stopped his little crisis, and made him accepted it that you play in the drama.

What you did not know while accepting the role was that a sex scene was planned, and instead of talking about it with Mino you stayed quiet.

The second to the last episode, was aired today, and yes, the famous sex scene was in it, and also Mino still didn’t know about it.

Since he was against the drama you thought that he would not have checked it out, but actually, he was addicted to the drama. Of course the fact that his girlfriend was kissing another boy bothered him but you were an actress, and he understands that is part of your work, or at least he tries. It wasn’t the first time that you had to kiss an actor and it wouldn’t be the last, he knew he just needed some time to accept it.

That night you came home late, you were expecting Mino to be asleep but you were surprised to see all the lights of the house on.

He was laying down on your bed waiting for you…

… and playing with the control remote. “Mind you to tell me why my girlfriend is making love in tv and without me knowing about it?” he was mad, really mad and jealous.

You looked to the TV and you only got to see you and Yoon kissing before Mino turned it off.

“Well I thought that it could had ruin you the surprise, since you are so in love with the drama” you smiled while lying next to him, trying to calm him. “I’m being serious Y/N…” his voice raised “… you should have told me!”

“Shut up! You are being too loud right now!…” you yelled too “… and, I know that I should have warned you… but I also knew that if I had told you, you would not have let me do it” you tried to control your tone. Trying to reason with him.

“Who will be crazy enough to let his girlfriend doing a sex scene with another boy?!”

He just not did say that.

“I DID!…” you yelled again “…didn’t I let you do the Body’s MV with that girl!”

Mino knew that you would come with that excuse, and so, he shushed, but he was still pissed off.

After a while you moved closer to him. You didn’t want to start a fight, especially over this.

Your head was resting on his chest and his eyes were closed when you asked “Are you mad?”

“I am not” he lied. And you knew it was a lie.

“Fine!… how was your day?” you asked. 

“Awful… until now” he said as he gripped his arms around you, tightly. “Was it because I wasn’t with you?” you smiled. 

Mino laughed “Yes cause I needed you…”

You smiled but your smile fade away as soon as he came with this “… today this back up dancer was all over me, I was scared” he smiled with his eyes still closed.

“She was doing what?!” you said angrily, lifting your head to see him.

“Don’t you dare being jealous over her, especially after that sex scene” his eyes were still closed, but now he was smiling.

“It was fake and you know it! But this girl… if I see her tomorrow at the agency I will kill her!!! If any girl touch you or try to flirt with you I will punch her!!! Who is she to dared flirting with my boyfriend?!!!” you were yelling, your emotions were out of control.

Mino wasn’t the only one with jealousy problems in this relationship.

He put his hand over your mouth “Now you are the one talking too loud, babe” he smirked, and you licked his hand, making him yell.

“Aghhh! Babe! If you wanted me to kiss you, you could have just ask, you know?” he wiped his palm in the sheets.

You just turned around and gave him your back “This girl was flirting with you while I wasn’t with you… did you even do something about it? Did you tell her that you have a girlfriend?”

“I did but she didn’t care” Mino was lying, actually no one flirted with him, but your reaction was too funny for him to stop, and it was his way to know that you cared for him and wouldn’t leave him for Yoon, or any other guy.

“You know what? Be like that, I don’t care!” you started to move away, ready to leave the bed.

“Fine but you are not going anywhere” he said, and back hugged you, his grip was tighter than before. 

After a few seconds of you trying, and failing miserably to release from him you finally gave up.

“Mino please tell me, do you really want me to die?” your voice was only a whisper now.

“Don’t be silly no one dies from jealousy” he smiled.

“I could be the first one”

“If I did not die, you won’t either…” he says against your ear “…and by the way… she never flirted with me”

“I knew it!…“ you laughed, and turned around “… good! I am happy now” you smiled and hugged him. 

You two are like little kids, but that’s what makes your relationship so special.

“Really? How happy?” he smirked.

“Enough to sleep in peace, goodnight babe” you smiled, and Mino hugged you tighter.

But his hug was a little bit too tight for you to be able to sleep and after a few minutes you told him “Mino… you were right, I probably can’t die from jealousy but I’m sure I can die from suffocation” you said out of breath. Of course you were exaggerating a little.

“Shhh…” his hug loses his strength “… but tell me… they is not going to be more sex scenes, right?”

“No, I will break up with him and leave the country with the lead role”

“WHAT?!!!” Mino yelled, you just ruined him the end. He did not like to see you with Yoon but he loved the chemistry between the two, and he wanted the two of you to dated, only in the drama of course.

“Since the director and I hate it when the girl always end with the main character, when the lead is 10 times nicer, we decided to give to every lead character fairness, and so at the end I leave with Jinwoo” you explained to him.

“Why every single end of my favorite dramas does ends badly?!!!”

Minho never liked endings; the terrific feeling that came with knowing that something so beautiful or destructive could end in the blink of an eye scared him to no end, as if he had to embrace everything he had with an undying force in case someone tried to end the things he loved the most. Like when you watch a movie and you never want it to end because you’re immersed in the story, same happens with books; like that song that you never finished because it felt incomplete. If you asked Minho if he ever wanted to end things a few years back, he would’ve simply said that he hated the feeling that followed said sentiment that made him feel incomplete, but he hurt himself with ending the thing that he tried to protect the most. His relationship.

It was an unfair move of life that made him feel like he had so much, then he felt like he needed to fuck everything up. Minho became his own enemy, wanted nothing but the worst for himself. At the moment of his cheating, he thought that he had everything, then he could have so much more, but he lost everything he had in the blink of an eye when he woke up in that hospital bed. The damned night that he regrets waking up, he wished that he could’ve just woken up and it was all a dream, that he woke up beside her like he did every day before everything went downhill, but he was greeted by Jihoon that night.
