He just knows how to get to her.   A grin spreads on her face,  happiness,  fondness,  like sparks igniting.   She throws an arm around his shoulder,  squeezing him in a half hug,  gently.   “Alright,  alright,  big man.   Come show me what you got going on there. ”

“ Too  busy  to  lend  your  favorite  gem  a  helping  hand? ”     she  teases,  though  not  before  giving  the  porch  a  quick  glance  over.   No  Garnet,  all  clear.   Placing  her  now  emptied  hands  at  her  hips,  she  stands  back  to  give  him  the  glance  over.   Really,  when  had  he  gotten  so  tall . . . ?     Clipping  the  urge  to  smother  him,  she  turns  to  grab  the  second  and  last  handful  of  bags.

“ A  busy  bee  isn't  usually  such  a  chipper  one.   Is  there  something  you’d  like  to  share,  buzzy  bee? ”
