Big Prop!

My Star was bb8 prop in the exhibition hall

After half term i completes the whole of my prop with included the rest of the body and head details, the second light i put in and the antennas. 

During the half term i come in to get more work done on my prop, while in i was able to start work on the head details which included his second eye, the to to top head pieces and some of the bottom orange pieces. 

On the 3/2/17, I painted the details of the body for on to my prop, I as able to complete each of the circles in the lesson

During the lesson today (2/02/17) I managed to get about five of the circles sprayed

Once I printed out my illustrator documents ready to be put on the bb-8 I realised that the colour of the paper didn't match the colour of his body, so I decided to come up with a different may of making them. I decided to make them from air drying clay as it would be easier to mould and create more of a 3D effect to the prop.

In the lesson today we had a tutorial on how to make a box, when making a box as the pieces of MDF are so thin it needs thicker pieces of wood in the inside so that you are able to nail the pieces together.
