Perhaps the most watched VHS of my youth was the first volume of NBA Superstars. To this day, if I hear "Take My Breath Away," I think of slow motion montages of Michael Jordan dunking. It always pissed me off that Nique's song was a frigging Yanni tune, but in the end, the song actually does the trick.

This photo I took of Converge is from the first time I saw them. It's amazing to me that it's been about 19 years since this photo was taken, and they are still active, increasingly relevant, and creating music that makes me want to punch myself in the face.

As the 2013-2014 Boston Celtics season draws to a close, I can't help but feel good about the future. I simply trust that Danny Ainge knows what he's doing and is smarter than most people. Until next season...
