Hoping for the best
Today, I decided to quit work.
It was a really stressful job. If you are an honest person, you would become one of the most dishonest when you leave. You have to tell your customers things that are not true to escape their doomed surveys. If you tell the customers the truth, most of them would hang up upset and give you a bad survey. It's your boss' turn then to crush heaven down to earth lecturing you how badly you handled the situation. Most of these bosses don't care what you tell the customer as long as the customer gives you a good review.
I'm not a very upright person. I lie. Sometimes I don't even flinch when I do. But I grew up in a very honest environment. My mother would always tell the truth -- or she would keep silent. My siblings are truthful as well. This is perhaps due to their faith. But you don't have to be religious to be truthful. I for one am not religious anymore but I strive hard to be honest. That's why the job was never a fit for me.
So I had to let go.
