Jughead: Sure, Betty one milkshake coming right up.
Jughead: Oh ask Archie! He thinks it's a good idea to take his cast off early! But I'm petty because I wont do it because I'm trying to be a good friend and think about if he hurts it and ruins his arm even worse.
Jughead: Yeah. Maybe Veronica could knock some sense into Archie
ARCHIE: You know what? You two hang out instead. I'm going to bed early.
BETTY: That can't actually be why you guys are mad at each other.
imessage: betty/archie/jughead
Jughead: Oh yeah? Example A. 127 hours. That seemed like it was really fun.
Jughead: Whatever. I'm stopping by Pops first. Betty, do you want anything?
ARCHIE: Can't relate.
ARCHIE: Careful, Betty. He might get pissed about the people you call friends too and be possessive😊
ARCHIE: Mean Girls is fine.
ARCHIE: Is Regina the petty one in that movie? Perfect for Jug.
BETTY: First of all, just a vanilla milkshake, Jug. Please and thank you.
BETTY: And another thing I want, is for you two to STOP ACTING LIKE IDIOTS.
BETTY: Seriously, what's going on?
BETTY: Oh, and they're all petty, Arch. It's called /Mean/ Girls for a reason.
BETTY: Ugh, I wish Veronica was here.
imessage: betty/archie/jughead
Jughead: No, but I know a few about people making terrible decisions. Spoilers: The endings always suck.
ARCHIE: Even if they make terrible decisions, they always have fun during it and it's worth it to them. Regardless of the ending.
BETTY: So...Mean Girls?
imessage: betty/archie/jughead
Jughead: Oh no. I'm totally excited... /yay/
Jughead: So where? The drive-in?
ARCHIE: My house. Dad's working late.
ARCHIE: Any good movies about petty/jealous best friends?😊
BETTY: Perfect, that means it's acceptable for me to show up in my pajamas.
BETTY: ...That's a very specific request.

Aria immediately felt bad for snapping at Betty. She knew the other girl from some of their classes, but she didn’t know her particularly well. And she knew that she had probably just made a bad first impression. “Sorry,” she apologized, glancing down at her phone, relieved when she saw that it was her mother texting her and not Ezra. When she asked if everything was okay, she nodded her head. “Yeah, everything’s great. I’ve just dropped my phone one too many times, i’m afraid the next time it’s going to break for good,” she lied with a smile on her lips. “I don’t want to make my parents get me another one if that happens…so I need to take good care of this one.”
“It’s all good,” she replied with her characteristic smile, knowing the other girl to be nothing but kind from the few interactions they had had previously. Betty’s head nodded a few times at her explanation, laughing the tiniest bit. “I understand completely, I’m a total klutz. And they seem so breakable, which doesn’t make sense considering we’re on them literally all day long.” Taking a sip of her drink she looked around the cafe before turning back to Aria. “Do you mind if I sit here?” she questioned, gesturing to the empty seat across from her. The place was unusually packed today, people wanting to get their hot drinks before heading home in the chilly weather.

NOEL: And you seem pretty unsure.
NOEL: Nah, nothing you need to worry about. But yeah, I'll let you know.
BETTY: Baby steps, I think the beach party was a good start.

NOEL: The idea will grow on you.
NOEL: Gear up for it? Either you just got a whole lot cooler or we're thinking of two different things.
BETTY: You seem pretty sure about that.
BETTY: Um, I just meant, like, get ready for it? Why...is there some other meaning I should know about?
ariiiamontgomery:
Aria loved sitting at a table in Grandhouse Cafe, drinking her favorite coffee order, a dry soy cappuccino, and writing in her notebook. Right now, she wasn’t really writing anything of substance, she hadn’t been able to write something decent in days. She checked her phone for what felt like the millionth time, hoping that she had a text from Ezra, and frowned when she saw that she didn’t. He had been kind of distant the past few days, and she didn’t know why. She thought of going to his apartment, but she didn’t want to look desperate. Her phone lit up, and she nearly jumped for it, dropping it on the floor. As she was about to reach for it, someone else did, and she panicked for a moment. “That’s my phone,” she pointed out quickly. For once she hoped that it was her mom texting her, and not Ezra.
Almost butting heads with the other girl Betty simply handed over the phone she had picked up, just wanting to help out. “Yeah, I saw you knock it off of the table,” she said matter-of-factly, wondering why Aria seemed so defensive. She knew the girl just briefly from some of the classes that they had in common, but her first thought was that the text messages had started up again. Which made her feel all the more anxious about everything that seemed to have quieted down around town, wondering if it was just the calm before the storm. “Is everything okay?” It was a simple question, one that she knew more than anyone else that didn’t have a simple answer.
Another night in || Betty and Jughead
bxrgrbxy:
“Well of course. You give a stray something to eat and it will come back for more. Don’t you know that, Betty Copper?” Everything was so horrible around them and yet as they just sat on the couch Jughead really felt comfortable to use his sense of humor (even if it was dark and usually frown upon by others). “But in all honesty, just being with you has been enough to keep things in my head from completely crashing. Even before… well…we kissed.” He didn’t know how to say what just happened without looking like a dork, he wasn’t embarrassed but still too much in shock to it. He was still trying to figure out how the girl could have ever wanted to kiss him in the first place; not that he’d ever complain.
He took a fry as offered; that had been something his body just did as instinct whenever food was placed before him. Jughead was looking at the screen but all he was starting to think about was that night he spent with Betty. How even as he was oblivious to how much she was needing his company he was helping her. He didn’t think he was capable of doing that for others and yet it was just so naturally done for her, it came so easy to him. “You know if you ever need just that again, Betty, I will be ready to climb that window and be there. Any time, I promise you that.” As he tried to keep his attention on the food and movie he found himself drifting, really trying what to think now it was hard to do anything when things made a complete turn so quickly, at least this time it was something positive in his life instead of something just dragging him down.
Her eyes were on the screen but her focus was on Jughead, especially when he talked and she could feel it vibrate through his chest. Pressing her lips together Betty grinned despite herself, glad that she could be somewhat of a reassuring presence to him. It was the least she could do, considering he was more than just that for her. “I’m gonna put a lock on that window, after everything that’s happened. But I’ll leave it open just for you, Jug. Or give you a key, either way.” Reaching for his hand again she intertwined their fingers tightly, feeling like everything would be alright if she could just stay right there in his arms.
monavxnderwaal:
“Sorry, didn’t mean to scare you.” Mona grinned at the blonde, making her apology seem a little less genuine though she truly meant well. “Just figure a little bit won’t hurt! Everyone could use some, it seems like.” She put the tiny bottle of lotion back in her bag, a confused expression across her face. “I suppose great minds think alike, in that case?” She was a little perplexed by the sudden comparison to Veronica, though she didn’t mind it and rather embraced it.
Betty wasn’t sure how to read Mona sometimes, although she had never been that perceptive and able to tell people’s true emotions to begin with. “Then thanks, I guess,” she said as she finished rubbing it in, bringing a hand to her nose to smell it for a moment. “I suppose you could say that.” Her eyes glanced around the hallway, looking for the other girl in question before giving up. “Does that mean that you have a spa day set up for yourself already?”

NOEL: Of course it is, I'll take two days suffering for one night of memories any day. Except that one, I'd happily take that embarrassment back.
NOEL: You'll get there, a couple more evenings of reckless fun and we can get you there.
NOEL: What can I say, I'm full of surprises.
BETTY: Ugh, it just seems like such a struggle.
BETTY: You'll have to let me know when the next one is, so that I can gear up for it.
BETTY: It appears that you are.
