Truth Through the Mirror

Nothing made sense anymore. The world she knew and cherished was crumbling and a new one was forming in front of her eyes. Since then, she has lost and hurt those she cared about. She had adapted to her new life, met extraordinary people and come to love many misjudged things. But she can not escape this feeling of loss. Loss of herself. -What am I supposed to do now? Who am I supposed to be? Can my life go back to the way it was?- Adaline looked at her reflection in the mirror in hopes of finding those answers. But what she saw made her ask even more questions. -Who is she? Is she me?- They looked alike but different somehow. Adaline felt like she knew her. She felt that she was her, but why? And more importantly how? The girl in the mirror started to look at Adaline, extending her hand. Like she’s trying to reach her, but it stopped. -Was it because of the glass? Could she actually come through?- So many questions and still no answers. But what Adaline was sure of was that she didn’t want whatever the mirror was showing her to disappear.
