David Cook - This Season 7 champ was so well-known for his perfectly pomaded, piecey shag, it became the subject of a famous “Best Week Ever” skit. The effect was called “Cookified,” and mousse-OD’ing rocker boys across the nation wanted that look. Why didn’t David ever get a hair product endorsement deal?

Sure, David Cook totally rocked Bon Jovi’s ”Living on a Prayer” in his audition, but it was hard to concentrate on his singing with what looked like a rooster sitting on top of his head. And that argyle sweater. No. Just no. His style screamed poser, but that would change at one pivotal moment during the finals: when Cook debuted his New Hair on top 9 Country Night. Goodbye, bad comb-over. Hello, hotness! Once again, concentrating on his exquisite cover of Dolly Parton’s ”Little Sparrow” was tough—but this time for all the right reasons.

As for what Cook might play? Although his most recent album, This Loud Morning, has been out for less than a year, it could be a new song, says an insider. Indeed, Cook’s tweets from the last few weeks have referenced a fair share of writing and music sessions and he’s said to have several songs in the can.
