My boss to me: “I know you’re such a stong, positive person, so I know you got this”

First of all, thank you, but I’m fuckin tired.

How am I supposed to be the “positive voice” of the company on 5 social media profiles when I don’t even know what I feel myself.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m so grateful to even be working (for now bc we are under investigation on if we’re “esssiential” by the health department) but, i just don’t know how to be cool when my mom is out of work and my grandma’s lung cancer is back, so we’re told by the doctors it WILL be fatal if she catches COVID. (Uh huh, so what you’re saying is... that if the CANCER doesn’t kill her, COVID will. mmk. bet.) Welp. Fuck my family huh? It is what it is though. All I can do, is keep moving forward.

Y’all. I’m going to see my FAVORITE band, for the last TEN YEARS, in concert tomorrow for the very first time. I can’t even explain the joy that is in my heart right now. I just hope that I can contain the tears when Brendon sings Bohemian Rhapsody because as of now, the water works are in the cards.

Can’t wait to Say Amen because IT’S SATURDAY NIGHT. ❤️
