A story about a girl who feels invisible
Okey so this is the first story I've written in a while... There was this girl in a small town, her mom and dad are divorced. She's in high school, she's the girl sitting in the back of the class trying to pay attention but she gets distracted by this idea in her head. It's about her dream guy at least she thinks he is. She sees "her man" with this fulfilled smile on his face when he looks at her. She hears her name getting called by the teatcher, he asks her about the second world war what she thought of it all and what she would have done. She answers: "I think I would have tried to get in the army and wouldn't stop trying unless I could have fought against the horror people went through... I would have done everything I could. Her class laughed why? Because she was the "though girl" who says things but would never actually do. The teacher continues asking her classmates, while she fall's back into her thoughts. She looks up to "her man" and she asks him shyly "why do you smile like that when you look at me?" He answers "because you are perfect for me and I love you." She hears the bell ring gets up and leaves class. On her way to her locker she passes "her man" she looks at him and looks away. She heard some girls laughing as she walked on by, she didn't pay any attention to what they where saying because it didn't matter, no one would ever see the real her. They all didn't see her because she didn't belong between all the people, she was different and had her own mind about everything and she wasn't afraid to put people back in there place. She never fitted into one of the clicks, no one ever saw her. She felt invisible, because no one was ever there for her, unlike everyone else she knows how messed up life can be, she knows what it's like to be on your own, because she doesn't know better. Everyone would avoid her because she's not afraid to give you a piece of her mind. During lunch she goes to the football field and sits on the Tribune and draws the most amazing thing. She drifts away to her thoughts again, she's imagining what it would be like to be seen, to finally not have to face everything alone anymore. In a far distant chatter she hears a group of guys approaching she has two options... option number one hide and sneak away or option number two she could stay and see what happens
