i don't think this makes keefe a bad person or anything but i really wish he would stop referring to sophitz as vomit-worthy or something along those lines. like this is entirely over the top
wait i think i've put my finger on what about this exactly pisses me off so much. it's the fact that keefe allowing fitz and sophie to be together is so villainzed by the narrative???? like that's the right thing for him to do???? but here, keefe "ignoring his feelings" is treated like a flaw . . . first of all, in no way shape or form does keefe "ignore his feelings". like that is absolutely not something he does. he is well aware he has a crush on sophie. he thinks about her constantly. he literally conjured up a fake image of her to guide him through niagara falls. he's obsessed with her and is aware of it. this is not "ignoring your feelings", keefe . . . what you're doing is. letting your two friends be together without interfering, which is entirely different from "ignoring your feelings" . . . and letting your two friends be together without interfering is generally considered a good trait, something ro clearly doesn't fucking understand
keefe, you aren't special because you're not throwing up around sophie and fitz when they're together . . . it's generally considered normal and baseline behavior to respect the relationship when your two friends are together
flavor of fintante i currently think is superior is fintan trying to seduce bronte post-ban to get him to lift the ban and bronte using fintan and leading him on and making him think heāll do it and then never actually doing it because he doesnāt actually gaf about fintanās feelings and fintan getting more and more frustrated and disillusioned with the council and bronteās false promises
