You have to understand–we spent decades having nothing to remember a loved one’s face by, or unable to capture a moment but in memory. In some ways, that is far more precious. But in others, the have that look on someone’s face, or the way they look sleeping beside you, or the image of the two of you kissing or being alone together or a myriad of other moments…

Our memories are powerful; we don’t need a camera. But I’m enamored of the damn thing, and I love looking back at photographs of those I love.

I cannot have enough photographs of you. It’s shocking to be able to capture your likeness on film. I love it.
