testing an upcoming pose pack by lycanicorn and i'm very normal about this pose. i put landscape versions below the cut because the background is gorgeous but i needed these to be the main photos. so i can stare at them a normal amount.

I felt lazy yesterday so I procrastinated in my comfort zone, Gale's hair.

Slowly trying to get used to blogging. Starting with sharing my beautiful artworks of Gale and Sumi (my monk Tav) by wonderful artists.

I found the Act 2 part where you convince Gale not to sacrifice himself (at the end of the Illithid colony) to be underwhelming, so I re-imagined it with more drama. 😩

Thank you @mercymaker for tagging me to do this! This was fun. fun little detail: the stars where the 'name' spot is, is in reference to abigail meaning "beyond the stars" in tolkien's elvish which is in CH20.

(was gonna make one for Flynn but couldn't decide who to put in the Bestie/SO/Pet section since in game he's a Karlach romancer and in fic it's anyone who's up for it LOL.... maybe should have put scelertas as his pet......)

I wrote these down to help myself. Maybe they can help someone else, too.

Tenet 1. Leave the apple alone. Let the apple be an apple. Stop attacking it with adjectives.

Tenet 2. You are not Shakespeare. The reader doth not needeth each arbitrary hand gesture and head tilt. It’s not a play. Drop the stage direction.

Tenet 3. You've earned the menace. It might be too subtle for you to notice because you’re standing too close. Step back. Check. Stop before it becomes redundant.

Tenet 4. Mr. Neel would rather kill himself than describe anything as blooming. Keep characters consistent.

Tenet 5. Sentences, paragraphs, and chapters are allowed to be short. Stop it.

Tenet 6. The coup must be earned. Building a foundation to get to the cool thing is half the fun.

Tenet 7. You’re allowed to not trust the reader sometimes. YOU’VE SWUNG TOO FAR. COME BACK. The reader cannot derive the plot through osmosis.

Tenet 8. Chapters are thematic. Not just a mishmash of scenes.

Tenet 9. If you’re grumpy, walk away. Forcing it will make it dog shit.

I haven't been writing much lately (which I'm very sad about, but trying to take it easy). I have been drawing a lot, though, so that's something :3

Here's a wip for one of the pride pieces I'm making 💖🏳️‍🌈 With my favourite platonic soulmates, of course. Have Storm and Natavriel getting some quiet time in their happy ending 🥰 (my heart is exploding rn, lol)

Hopefully I'll finish the mini fic that I'm writing to go with this pic before the end of this month🤞 (will also include Astarion, I'm not forgetting about him haha)
