Shoebox Cabin and Cisne

Some drawing I did for my story That Thing With Feathers the first one I don't know why I never posted but there it is.

The first drawing is Rosinante and Law's first house/cabin at the island of Kura, just to get an idea of how small it was in comparison to poor Rosi and why it was important to find ANYWHERE else.

And the second drawing is a layout of their ship Cisne. The type of ship is a Chinese Junk If I've got my facts right) and I HEAVILY referenced this wonderful model for the drawing -> Asian Ship

Also, also. I am SO tempted to create an illustration in the style of "Where's Waldo?" where they boy's are trying to find Mimi in the ship but I know it would be hell on me so it will have to remain a dream for now 😩

Heart Pirate Corazón, only like... handsome Sqwidward version 😂

This man needs to go to JAIL he's too pretty 😭 On the one hand, Law could use him as a distraction against enemies or to charm anyone in their war. ON THE OTHER HAND, he needs to hide his papa away because everyone wants to snatch him 😭

A while back I was catching up with the story When Clouds Roll By and my GOD I got a burning urge to draw pathetic wet noodle Zuko. It's an absolutely amazing fic, you guys should definitely take a look. And while no, this isn't really fanart, it is very inspired by the story.

For size comparison, Imagine that you can hold that curled up Zuko in both your hands. Good times haha.

The one where he's spitting fire I was trying to like, have him wriggling on the ground in anger XD SIGH classic Zuko 😩

Summer Days At The Aquarium

Donquixote "Corazón" Rosinante & Trafalgar Law (One Piece)

There's a knock on the glass behind him. He whips around to tell whatever stupid kid is ignoring all the "Don't knock on the glass" signs to quit bothering the mer, and stops dead. The mer's enclosure is too small for it. It's a massive cylinder, stretching from floor to ceiling, but Law's spent enough time in here to realize that the diameter isn't actually long enough for the mer to stretch out completely. Sometimes it swims in lazy, discontent circles. But usually it hides as much of itself as possible in the fake rocks at the middle of the tank, and watches people pass by. Law has never seen it come up to the glass. He's definitely never seen it knock to get someone's attention. It's bigger than a human. Maybe even intimidating, this close. But its face is the most human-like part of it, and it doesn't look hostile. It looks curious, intent.

This is a modern AU where Cora is a merman and then he starts interacting with Law. It's very sweet and I really recommend it. Go check it out. From my part I can't WAIT for the last chapter 😁

So, I already answered that question here -> Poisonous Ds BUT lucky for you I have TWO versions of this premise. Let me tell you about the second one.

This AU is VERY fairytale-y but not to the extent of a proper Fairy Tale. We have magic, cold iron that affects being with magic, etc. So, int this story Marie Joies is closed off from everyone, truly a holy land for pseudo Gods, and they DO have some amount of magical power. The Donquixs get out but in leaving and being kept away from the holiness of Marie Joies, they morph into monstrous looking things.

There's so much more to this story, but long story short, D's are still poisonous to the Celestial Dragons here, so when Rosinante finds Law in a deplorable state and takes him in, slowly but surely he loses strength and becomes weak.

The chain was tied around Law’s neck. The tumble down the snowy incline had tangled the links impossibly around him, trapping one of his wrists against his neck and limiting his movement. Law was heaving as he tried to catch his breath. The chain burned. It burned. It burned. It burned. Law screamed, angry tears rolling down his face. His body ached from the rumble, from being chained up like a dog for weeks now. With cold fucking iron.

I have two versions of this premise actually! I'll just tell you about the original one.

So basically, in this story there IS a reason why the Celestial Dragons have the Ds as boogiemen is that physical closeness makes them physically ill, prolonged exposure might even be deadly. BUT, this is a closely kept secret, so almost no one knows.

When Sengoku gets Rosinante as a child, he finds out about this (well, the beginning of it) when he has to leave Rosi in Garp's care and Rosi becomes weak and lethargic by the end of the day ✨ that's about it with the premise hehe.

Ooh! I'm glad you asked! I LOVE that one, but I've never gotten farther than the first scene because I feel like I need to plan the rest extremally well 🤭

Brief description, Doflamingo keeps Cora alive (Law doesn't know about this) but eventually he gets tired of his defiance and after he gets more pissed at Law becoming a pirate Doffy gives Cora to Ceasar to experiment on and give him Amber Lead. Because Doffy is a bastard and he's going to get the most of their eventual reunion. Law finds out in Dressrosa.

And Rosinante thought it was painful before. He had always had chronic pain, ever since he was a child and spent two years of his life being chased and beaten and strung up. But he’d learned to deal with it, found a way of dulling the pain or ignoring it. This was different though. Every millimeter of him hurt, even the roots of his hair ached against his scalp when he moved them. His own hands when he held things. The very wind on the rare occasions it ghosted over his skin. “Where are we going?” he asks his brother, because in spite of everything, he knows he’s not like any other prisoner of his brother’s. No, he’s Doffy’s priced brother. Even a traitor and having hurt him where Doflamingo was soft, he gets privileges no other unwilling host of his brother does. He can ask whatever he wants and Doffy will answer him, sometimes even with a comradery that has no business inhabiting his brother’s voice. “I have a surprise for you,” Doflaming says with a wide grin. Rosinante stops then stumbles when his brother keeps walking, grip on his bicep thigh. Those words do not bode well for him. He sighs shakily. “Are you going to torture me again?” he asks. “Ha! It would be no less than you deserve,” his brother answers cheerily. Rosinante does not comment that, whatever betrayal he did towards his brother, has surely bein paid for after 13 years of captivity, either the torture or the medical experimentation or the lonely, lonely prison he lives in surely ought to cover it at this point?
