dont worry about it, I feel the same. I think a lot of people in the radqueer community, not all, pretend to be okay with everything just to feel accepted. It's not bad to want community, it's bad when the community condones things that are genuinely not okay. I do think a lot of the flags are pretty, though.

about the character ai thing, it's not inherently the app itself, ai is very bad imo, yes, and it contributes to soiling fresh water but more or so the aspect of it filling in friends and therapists concerns me. and, yk, I think you can still use trans id flags without being radqueer, it's not exclusively a radqueer thing and it would be weird for them to claim it as such.

radqueer made flags is a bit complicated imo. I have spoken to a few radqueers who don't support pro contact and what not, and yk hardcore rads will call them fakerads but I think it's more radical not to hurt people or things that can't fight back.

I also don't automatically assume radqueers are maps. my problem with radqueers is normalizing taking disorders, potentially harming yourself to have a disability which I've seen people, including radqueers, do, which in itself is a mental health problem, and trying to normalize zoophilia, pedophilia, necrophilia (in the pro contact way) and other harmful paraphilias, as well as try to push them into the lgbtq community, which they're not.

Id look into mogai if I were you (i think they're chill from my research), do not join the radqueer community, you could genuinely be harmed.

yeah, I don't disagree. doesnt mean the adult shouldn't be held accountable and the minor shouldn't acknowledge the wrongs of the adult with a therapist, even if it wasnt traumatizing for them, that adult could go on to do the same thing and actually traumatize a minor.

yeah so actually the difference between transrace and transgender is the fact gender is a social construct and race is not. yes, I'll be elaborating for the small brains.

while sex (your biological "gender") is not a social construct as it is uncontrolled and something natural and bodily, like race, gender is what you as a human can identify as.

men only have penises because that's what people long ago decided what a male was at the time, along with the pronouns "he/him" and vice versa for women.

yes, you can change your gender and get surgery and what not, but every trans person including myself acknowledges it's not our sex, and while we can't change that part, it doesn't invalidate us.

but skin color. it's not a social construct- well, racism is along with race, but not poc or skin color in general. it's just something you're born with, you can't change that. You can adapt other cultures as long as you're respectful and go about it correctly, as that is a social construct- though it doesn't invalidate culture overall, it's just something that's naturally formed, like gender, especially if you're looking to move somewhere where said culture is most prominent. but it doesn't mean its your culture, as it's.. well, not. not unless you were raised into it, in my opinion. you can be any skin color and have any culture or none at all. but you cannot be trans race.

so that erases the things your race (as categorized typically) has faced ? that erases any other person of colors opinion? no MEANS no, even if one person is okay with it, and it's not even ABOUT no. and yes, while this can go for sex ("You'll never experience the thing men go through!", "you'll never have a period!") Yeah, we know, and the people who cant acknowledge that need therapy, need to come to terms with the fact that despite their sex, it doesn't define their gender.

first of all, why in the world would one think it's okay to be like "yeah, this girl is struggling with an attraction- instead of encouraging therapy or for her to talk to somebody about it and find potential solutions, lets invite her into a community that supports ANY SORT OF CONTACT whether it hurts children and animals or not and encourage her attraction to get worse because this community is such a safe space!"

second of all, why the fuck is it anyones business but a professional and people close to her that she's struggling with this

for the next one (the ten year old), this could be incredibly damaging and rather than the idea of the child trying to figure out why they feel this way and getting help for potential safer outlets so they can still maintain a semblance of childhood radqueers wanna encourage them and potentially have them feel worse or act upon things they've experienced ... also why would you want a ten year old or any minor in a community with pedophiles, that would traumatize them more.

I dont even know what to say for the eight year old scenario it's absurd.. possible, but disturbing..

for the 21 year old .. get a new therapist? obviously that one isn't fucking helping? getting over alcohol doesn't mean you surround yourself with more alcohol, this poor woman?
