Wonder where I've been?
Sorry about the recent radio silence, folks. Just wanted to keep you guys up to speed on what I'm up to and where I wanna take this comic.
First of all, Huntsman isn't going anywhere. Quite the opposite. We're just getting started baby. That being said, I've been faced with the reality that it's high time for this project to have a corner of the internet to call its own. To be honest, posting to Tumblr was always a half measure. This blog is a compromise for the fact that at the time I started this project in earnest I was flying by the seat of my pants, I had no idea how to get my work into peoples' eyes and this was the best I could come up with. Things are different now, and a lot of doors have opened up to me in terms of viable hosting platforms, so next time you see Huntsman it'll have its own nice, shiny new webpage. I'll still be using this blog to update and post pages, but given the places I wanna take this story and Tumblr's annoyingly constricting content guidelines, I'd rather post it somewhere where no one can tell me what I can and can't post except myself.
As for when? Well, sooner rather than later is all I can say. August is a pretty hectic month for me, and I'm also working on another project during Huntsman's off-season, so early September is the soonest I can promise a grand return of active updates. However, once I've migrated Huntsman's current pages to the new and improved webpage you guys will be the first to know. THAT should happen much sooner.
In the meantime, though, thanks everyone for sticking with me so far. I've kinda been learning as I go, and it's been more reassuring than you guys know that I've generated any interest at all in this project through its awkward adolescence. You guys are the best, and I'll see you very soon.
