my life is solidly okay right now and I don't mean okay as in just so-so I mean I am untroubled in this moment and that's really nice. (and I can recognize that this is temporary without dreading its end.)

I offhandedly mentioned to my mom that my school has an Office of Disability Services and she suggested that I register with them for my anxiety and get academic accommodations for writing time extensions (and that my dean will feel terrible for harassing me about writing once I get disability accommodations) And that felt so good because it was completely non-judgmental and not ableist And also what she suggested was exactly what I've already done but she doesn't know that I didn't tell her already because I didn't want to make her worry right when I started college But now she told me to register with the ODS next semester and I said okay and so in the future it'll be so much easier to bring this stuff up with her I dunno it was just so validating and nice

this is bullshit the dean fuckin lied to me

spending more time worrying about my dad getting mad at me for still having work to do than actually doing work

Anyone else ever have those days when your brain is like "I kinda wonder if this qualifies as being abused" "nah, no way, this is definitely not serious enough for that" "but everyone always thinks that their abuse isn't serious enough to be real" "but this is actually not serious enough" "but how do I know??"

Oh lord I hooked up with my ex Which I guess I was secretly hoping for but I had no plans to act on that desire until he started feeling me up while we were cuddling but w/e

Working by the light of the Christmas tree is so picturesque and lovely except that I've got all this fucking homework during Christmas break
