Updated Events Schedule!

Not too much on this one so far, but I wanted to announce my next couple of events and let y'all know that there's some that I'm waiting to hear back from. Hopefully there will be more events to come, and I will share another updated schedule if I am able to add anymore things to my roster - keep an eye out for that!

Leo Week: Remix a Fanwork

One of the Leo Week art prompts was a free day for Leo's birthday, so I used the 'Remix a Fanwork' prompt from the personal challenges prompt list.

Leo Week: Cowboys

I was so excited to see 'Cowboys' on the prompt list for Leo Week! As a Certified Cowboy Enjoyer, I absolutely had to get in there! Since Leo liked Trigun, I of course chose some of those men to give the cowboy treatment to :D I had so much fun translating their canon outfits into cowboy attire, and I also really liked playing with a different stylistic approach - all in all, I am suitably pleased with the end result.

Leo Week: Orange Heart

Back in July, it was Leo Week, a memorial week in honour of a mutual who passed earlier this year. To celebrate his memory, event mods compiled a list of creative prompts and a list of personal prompts, and I dipped my toes into those waters. I am yet to finish the art prompts since I got hit with a powerful art block in late July-early August. I am hoping to finish off the prompts when I can, but for now I wanted to share what I have been able to do.

First up is the 'Orange Heart' prompt. Mods explained this as 'love is an orange, it's meant to be shared' which I thought was a lovely sentiment. And so you're looking at that, and looking at this piece, and you're not sure what happened there, but allow me to explain! I thought about oranges, and then thought about other citrus fruits. When I got to grapefruits, I thought of the song 'The Most Beautiful Bitter Fruit' by La Dispute, which is a grapefruit flavoured song to me. And that lead me to Legato getting all up in Nai's guts in a very literal sense (without getting his hands dirty, of course), for the purposes of understanding and intimately connecting with another person. So here we are!

NCT Pantone Swatch!

@/powdered_cherry on Instagram asked me to make a pantone swatch postcard themed around the band NCT as a gift for a friend! We worked together to come up with a design, and this is the finished product! This was a lot of fun to make, I really enjoyed drawing the pattern for this piece :D

Trigun Bookmarks!

To celebrate having finished volume one of Trigun in book club a few weeks back, I made some bookmarks of one of my favourite panel colourings!! These are double sided and have a fun little tassle on them. You can pick one up on my ko-fi page and have Vash keep you company on your reading adventures :)

The Waylay Motel Charms!

I'm almost done with the new merch promo, I swear. Just a couple of things left, and one of them is a new charm! I love Malevolent and I've had some folks ask if I have any merch for it at cons so it was due time that I made at least one thing. So I made these transparent yellow motel charms for The Waylay, and you can get yours on my ko-fi page now!

Tsuchigomori Standee!!

@neatnete got me into Toilet Bound Hanako Kun and it really did something to me and gave me a thousand ideas. And it gave me the push to make my first ever standee! I love Tsuchigomori, because I have predictable tastes, and so he gets the honour of keeping you company in acrylic form! This one is a whiteboard standee - you can use a whiteboard marker to write yourself a little message on his board! (Permanent marker will also work but I can't advise on this since I've not tried it or tried removing the marker) If you'd like to have a (but not /the/) spider man hanging out with you, grab yourself a standee on my ko-fi page!

Vash the SPAMpede...

The last of the new stickers that I want to highlight is this very silly Trigun sticker. You can always count on me to make more Trigun merch, although I would like to take a moment to celebrate my branching out and making mostly non-Trigun things for this big new merch drop! I just thought this goof was so funny that I had to make these. You can get these now on my ko-fi page so do pick one up if you want to have a little giggle yourself.

Big Challenges Stickers!

I absolutely love Big Challenges, he's one of my favourite Sanrio characters of all time, so I made some stickers about him! Transparent Stickers!

It's been a good while since I've made any new stickers so I thought that it was about time that I designed some for my new merch collection. I've wanted to make some transparent stickers for a while and am delighted by my first foray into them. There's one of Nene from Toilet-Bound Hanako Kun, and one of a jellyfish inspired by The Voidfish from The Adventure Zone. You can get these on my ko-fi page so do check them out!

Another new merch piece that I have been phenomenally excited to share is my first ever photocard holder! I've had this idea for a while so I was delighted to be able to finally make it, and I'm so so happy with how they came out too! Manga Acrylic Pins!

Another new merch offering for today is these two acrylic pins! These were dialogue bubbles from volume one of Trigun, but I picked two quotes I liked that were general so that non-Trigun folks can have at 'em too! I really like these and I hope that you'll like them too :)

These are printed on recycled acrylic and have rubber pin backs! You will find them under 'acrylic pins' on my ko-fi page if you want to grab one.

Notepads!

I have been slowly but surely working on a big update to my online wares over the past few days. I still have some work to do on it, and a post will be coming with some more information about that. But until then, I wanted to share with you all some new things that are available to you!

I have five brand new, shiny, amazing notepads that you can get and fill up with thoughts, grocery lists, notes, schemes and plenty of other things! I drew all of these with my own two hands, including the Clip Studio Paint interface!!
