Titans go!

Eventually, her powers would return. Right? They had to! For now, she had to assume that it would take a while, and that meant being stuck on a planet she knew nothing about.

Though, technically… that wasn’t true. She knew that the people here looked pretty similar to tamaraneans build-wise, though their skincolor was more light or pink than orange and they seemingly didn’t grow as tall as tamaraneans tended to; and they had things that were edible for her. Which was, hopefully, enough knowledge to survive for a while, without being found. It was possible that the aliens capturing her were still after her, but even without them - the idea of facing a planet that might as well be highly against tamaraneans or maybe outsiders in general was something Koriand’r would not risk, not without being able to defend herself properly. So, the only logical option was to hide, and that’s what the young girl did. Still with cuffs stuck around her wrists, it was a bit of a challenge to move without making noise when she couldn’t fly, but Koriand’r always waited until it was silent above her before sneaking out, and she tended to manage to get a hold of at least some food to take down to her hiding with her.

Today was different though. There had been a lot of noise above earlier, and while now everything was silent, when she came out of her hiding place she found that many things seemed to have been built here since she had last come outside. There were many… buildings of cloth, as it looked, and there were many lights and noises coming from a bigger one. She was curious, but her own well-being still was more important than sating her curiousity, so she focused on looking through the empty places that still had food on them. Grabbing some things, partly trying out if something was edible on the spot, she returned to her hiding place with a better ‘loot’ than usually. Whatever it was that now suddenly existed above her, it was good! This would do so much better in her search for food, and she didn’t have to go as far either!

Tonight was like any other night he was performing, it was a blast for the boy wonder. Whenever he was going from swing to swing he felt free like bird gliding across the sky. It was a packed show and considered one of the most busiest nights for the circus, everyone was giving it their all especially the youngest Grayson, he was probably having the most fun out of all of them. After a long night of performing the Graysons finally got their break as it was coming close to the end of the night for the circus, little Grayson climbed down from the insanely long ladder. Sweat dripped down from his hair landing on his green and red costume that the family wore whenever performing, he decided to sneak away to get a quick snack and drink from one of the venders near by, after purchasing a rather expensive hot dog and some water to wash it down. As Dick made his way back to the tent humming joyfully as he took a bite of his hotdog and on his way back he realized how quite the rest of the place was compared to the main tent of the circus, he actually found it kind of nice to have a little peace and quiet once in a while.

It was dusk in Jump City and Robin was doing his usual patrol of the town when he noticed someone leaving a break n entry. He was quick to move and start chasing the criminal on the rooftops, he shouted “STOP! Don’t make this harder than it has to be!” As they we jumping across the rooftops on rather small building for a city he managed to catch up to them.

They threw a couple punches and kicks at each other but the thief managed to get a lucky hit in right across the jaw causing Robin to stumbled close to the edge of the roof before getting shoved off by the unknown thief. Robin couldn’t get his grappling hook out in time and ended up hitting a fire escape staircase with his chest taking most of the hit before landing on the ground.

Robin laid there on the ground in a dark alley struggling to catch his breath. He slowly got to his knees and crawled his way to the street before leaning against a wall. “I should ha-“ he winced at the pain before looking around to see if anyone was around to help him.

“H-hey..you” he said trying to get the persons attention.

“Well this is an interesting city.” Folding her arms, Saya walked down a sidewalk looking around Jump City. Having seen a large T shaped building when she first started passing through, she decided to send her motorcycle back home through a spell and walk through it. “I wonder just what might be out here.” Sniffing the air, she could smell the scent of various restaurants nearby causing her to think of going to get something to eat.

“what  if  instead  of  policemen,  there  were  giant,  man-sized  police  spiders?”

“what  is  the  sexiest  name  you  can  imagine?”

Robin had no idea how he ended up in this strange city. All he remembers is that he was last fighting a villain conducting some dangerous experiment that could’ve destroyed half a city. As he was fighting the villain an explosion went off and he woke up in this unknown city.

Robin took a couple steps back getting ready for a fight. “Take it easy…I need to ask you some question.” He stood there trying to read for body language for a second. “I need to know where I am, I’ve never seen a city like this before, and I’ve been all around the world.” Robin said with a serious tone.

Robin eased up a little bit after her first question. He gave a small glare as he took a quick glance of his environment. “Musutafu?” Robin sighed a little not recognizing the name, he lowered his arms and hid them under his cape. “Yes I have cities where I come from…the thing is that I sort of woke up in this place that I’ve never heard of.” He was cautious about what he’s saying being careful not to reveal to much about himself.

Robin embraced her in a hug that was a little too tight for him. “It’s nice to see you too Star.” He said with a slight groan from the tight but welcomed hug from a friend.

Robin let out a soft sigh when she asked about the mission. He wasn’t pleased with how his solo mission but when was he ever pleased about those?. Robin stood there for a second recollecting on the amount of people he interrogated trying to squeeze intel out of. “The mission…it went okay. I managed to get a few small leads but I need more.” He said with a stern voice.

It was one of the very few slower nights in the Titans tower and Robin was the last to awake doing one check of the police radios and cameras before he called it a night, even though it was three in the morning. Robin let out a small yawn as he was leaning on the chair facing towards the big monitor that light up the room. He stood up and stretched up his arms as he thought to himself “Hmm it’s been a pretty quiet night.” He was so used to being in Gotham as there is always something going on in that criminal infested city. 

Robin slowly dragged himself out of the room and into the dark hallway leading to his room and just as he got to his door as he was about to take off his mask and walk in, he felt a big wack on his head before he could even react he was knocked out.

Her energy ceased again and turned back to Robin, her gaze going more to the ground for now.

Robin starts to rummage through his utility belt to see if he still has his pick locking kit.

“You. Rest. Now.”

“You took five steps and need to sit down again?”

“I’m absolutely fine, I just need to sit down.”

“I just need to sit-what do you mean I’m already laying down?”

“Your eyes aren’t focusing. Just close them for ten minutes.”

“Write one sentence on this piece of paper, and then I’ll let you up.”

“I just need a breather, that’s all. Maybe ten. No fifteen.”

“We’re both so exhausted we can’t even argue about not being exhausted.”

“When I said I needed five more minutes I meant it more like hours.”

“… no… I’m tired… let me sleep… I don’t want to get up.”

“We need to get out of the heat, you’re starting to look sick.”

“You can’t hide those shaking hands from me. You need to stop.”

“I’m just a little cold, I’m okay, really. Let me sit with a blanket or something.”

“Moving…? No I’m good thanks.”

“Gravity has a hold on me of which I have not the strength to break.”

“Was… was that actually there? That wasn’t there was it?”

“I’ve had no energy for three days.”

“You worked yourself so hard that you’ve been sentenced to three days of bed rest.”

“Listen I can… I can get up. It’s fine.”

“If we’re both in this state, we both really screwed up somewhere huh?”

“I have energy for exactly one more person of favourable standing, and going the hell to bed. With or without that person, bed is happening.”

“You’ve struggled to move anything for the last hour.”

“This is what happens when you over exert yourself.”

“You were almost dead from pushing it too far!”
