dpxdc prompt: bring back souvenirs
Dani travels a lot, right? She goes where she wants, has a great time, and moves on. Danny has his own things going on, usually absolutely insane things btw, and it's not until recently that he's started having time to keep in touch with Dani during her travels. He insists on it now.
Annoying, but also kinda nice. That sums Danny up perfectly.
But how can Dani share everything she does on a weekly basis? what does she highlight? This is new territory for her, having someone sincerely asking after her well-being and day.
Danny suggests collecting souvenirs, mementos, things that Dani can bring out to remember a story by or send to Danny as 'signs of life' (ha, lol).
She ends up enjoying it, and Danny ends up with a tiny bit of a hoard he keeps safe for her in the GZ.
Then she has an encounter with a superhero. The first of many to come, actually. And just- it would be sooo cool to get a souvenir from this, Danny would flip, she's gotta.
On the other side of this, Damian's brothers won't stop bringing up the girl he saved during a rogue attack who then proceeded to haggle him into autographing her dagger sheath (no, Richard, Drake, having a personal dagger is not That Weird. we live in Gotham). Sure she somehow kept up with him for most of patrol to get it, but that's why she earned it.
Superboy the clone lost a pair of shades to some sassy child he got a selfie with that actually said 'yoink' as she took 'em and then? just? vanished from all senses???
Zatanna takes a photo with a girl after a show, and there's definitely something supernatural about her, but she's gone as quickly as she appeared.
Flash gets approached by a teen with a recorder/camera (probably some amateur reporter or school project?) who asks a few questions about time travel and a weird hypothetical about ghosts that only escalates.
Captain Marvel finds a glowing girl with white hair stealing snacks in the JLs base. On one hand, trespassing, on the other, he's done the same thing. She shoots out of there and is gone before he can do much of anything.
And various others/whoever you choose/something totally different.
