quick intro for people new to my blog- I’m the Archivist 14, burned out college student, a bisexual 19 year old who’s trying to work herself out through her mental health problems, author currently trying to write a book, fanfic author that’s usually chronically online, and I’m a meme lover.

my main policy is Ship and Let Ship and I am anti censorship but I am not by any means a proshipper.

Racists, pedophiles, transphobes, ai lovers and homophobes are not welcome to my blog.

As for the hiatus announcement- I will not be active on ao3, I’m pretty disconnected about things so I’m taking a break except for my deltarune chat fic and my August event where I post (hopefully) a wlw fic everyday until the end of August. So this means most fics of mine are actively going on hiatus again.

pls note if I ever say “my dude” I mean that in the most gender neutral way possible, I just have the vocabulary of a stoner

Btw I'm blaming so many people for going to see HTTYD live action and insisting it was fantastic for why Moana live action is looking to be just shot for shot remake with zero differences in sight so far, because Disney has now seen people won't care what the slop is, they'll eat it anyway and praise it so...

uh so I saw the Moana movie (bc of a family and friends gathering, i didn’t pay for my ticket thankfully) and like- it was quite literally the exact same movie i have seen before but it lacked so much intention to its shots and compositions. Like I think it’s a problem of the live actions as a whole. Nothing in the film felt organic and brimmed with this soul and intention, it was a filled with jokes that didn’t land bc they didn’t go with the same beats as to “be original” which made them sound clunky, there was one shot of the water which looked the same (this is not a criticism of the vfx artists btw, those people are worked over time i genuinely think what Disney does to exploit them is awful), the cuts were rushed as if it was meant to keep the attention of kids brain rotted by the internet, there was one scene that was added that didn’t add any sort of substance to the plot as it quite literally showed us what we already figured what was happening via context clues, and the acting direction made most of the actors sound stilled (I know this wasn’t the fault of the actors as the grandma’s death scene is probably the best scene in the film), and it is quite literally so mind numbingly mediocre I both have both too much to say and nothing to say at all.) also to the actress who played Moana -I hope she gets more roles after this and it doesn’t kill her budding career. You did the best you could, good luck

At Target this lady told her son he couldn’t have a Wonder Woman doll because “that’s for girls” and then bought her daughter the same one. It got me thinking about how often I see people bar young boys from appreciating girls/women as protagonists and heroes, and my own experience with it as a kid.

Okay, I know little about gooseworx or “The Amazing Digital Circus”, so I can’t speak on the show nor gooseworx past actions, but since @staff has had a history of banning blogs of trans women on this site, as I feel as a cis ally, this is rather disturbing. If gooseworx really was banned for being trans, then, yeah, it’s unacceptable. Again, I can’t speak on her past actions since I barely know her, but the tumblr staff needs to do better about not systematically banning trans people on this site.

Gooseworx has been deactivated from Tumblr. I don't know if @staff banned her (due to their tendency to ban trans women for no reason)... Or if she deactivated due to stress (it seems TADC and its aftermath really stressed her out)
