Hello there, space traveler. Welcome to our main blog. This is where we keep a master log of all posts from most blogs of ours with some exceptions. This is also where alters without a sideblog will go to post their thoughts or things they make for others to see.
Please let us know if there is anything we can do to make this intro more accessible if need be!
We are a mixed origin hc-did system of too many. We refer out system as a galaxy but will use more general terms at times as well. Sometimes you just need to add some whimsy to your life, you know? We also may refer to our alters as stars to go with the space terms.
Our galaxy has many names it goes by with the main one being the Cyberhex Galaxy. However, our first system name was the Alice System. We now also use the Digital Numb Collective and Manifest System as aliases. A little confusing, I know. Bear with us here. We're trying our best given everything. And yes, we keep naming our system after songs.

Every time without fail that we're writing a multi-chapter fic, one of the chapters ends up being way longer than the rest. Currently most chapters for Abyssal Heart sit at around 3-4k words. A chapter we are currently writing is over 6k and it still isn't done yet.
This is what I get for decided to go back and add a chapter in because I skipped some game lore that I later decided I did in fact want to put into the story in a meaningful way and not just a passing conversation.
I still have no idea what's going on in the system. None of the normal hosts outside the daily life ones seem to be fronting for their intended jobs anymore. But we are still switching and everything. It's not like someone is just frontlocked and that's the answer.
If this is some part of a system restructuring going on it is taking for fucking ever. This has to have been going on for over a month at this point and it's really getting annoying. Like, what does the brain want from us at this point to finally settle?
Just polyfrag things where there's one alter who is the dedicated fragment absorber who has a source list that keeps getting bigger every year because they fuse with fragments that are introjects and consequently take on the source identity to a degree

i feel so defensive and protective of people with ARFID like if i had a disorder that made my brain register 90% of food as poison for no reason and i had a bazillion people on the internet constantly calling me a manchild who needs to just grow up and stop being a picky eater i would start killing people
people with ARFID and people with very few autism safe foods and people with contamination OCD and people in ED recovery and everyone else with a complicated relationship with food that no one takes seriously GET BEHIND ME!!!!!!!
As a polyfrag system who decided to move to a new tracking app that can't support a transfer of data but wants to use it anyway, figured might as well share a way we are making it a bit more manageable to add alters since you know, we have 1.6k that we documented (though our head archivist is putting the true headcount in the 26k range - most being fragments with nothing really distinguishable but still).
So, how to make it more manageable to transfer without burning out?
1. Start by only adding profiles as alters front. Don't worry about adding those who have never fronted before or will probably never right off the bat. Start with those who are needed to be tracked
2. When time permits, start adding others by some criteria related to the fronters. Break it up into small parts. Maybe the alter that's fronting has a family in the system, let them add those members to the list. Fronter is dating someone else in the system, let them add that profile to the list. Fronter has a subsys, add that in
3. Make it a goal to add a certain number of profiles per day. Even if that number starts at just 1, a profile is a profile nonetheless.
4. When #2 runs out of being viable, start breaking down the alters by another category like role or source and add them in chunks based on that. Or even just the first letter of their name. Add all the A names left then go down the alphabet. Something that gives you the ability to see how far you've come with a dwindling list like that can help boost moral rather than going in at random and only counting down by total headcount
Of course, this is just a way that helps us not burn out. You might find some of these methods do the opposite for you and that's okay. Everyone is different. But if you feel overwhelmed, here's something you might be able to start with

The brain keeps putting me in front for work. I do not want to work! Why does it keep doing that to me?? There are literally so many parts who have the job of being a worker and yet no, put someone who has the least motivation to do our job in front constantly. That'll end well

What they don't warn you about when you get a Lucifer (hazbin hotel) fictive in the system is that eventually you will find yourself with a giant collection of rubber ducks because he sees a duck, he wants the duck
