Welcome to the pseudo-official blog of a nerd who is also writing a book (or like five, but I digress). Here I'll talk about the ludicrous amount of stories rattling around in my head. I'll talk about my writing process, progress and struggles and my thoughts on story writing from the perspectives of being a Christian, writer and fan of many stories other people wrote. I will probably post writing memes and I will most definitely be cringey because I am cringey and I'm also learning to embrace that. I will post my drawings and maybe music because I like showing people that stuff and this feels like a not bad place to do it. I may talk about life. I may not. I won't be very professional because I'm not very good at that and I don't feel like ruining something I love to do by trying to be someone I'm not. I'll probably ask for suggestions for a pen name because who knew it would be so hard to think of a fake name to put on the front of your baby that you've dreamed about for years? I mean, there's no stress there at all. It's just the name I'll be stuck with...for an unknown amount of books...

So, a bit about me because I should probably do that. Hi, I'm Wolfe! I don't have my pen name picked out (cuz I totally didn't just say that), so I'm just going with that. I've got a couple ideas, but I haven't nailed one down yet. (Also haven't decided on a profile pic and banner, but I want to draw my own instead of scalping someone else's off the internet, but I'm lazy, so that hasn't happened yet...bear with me!!) I write mostly sci-fi/superhero stories, but I love fantasy, military fiction, action/adventure and pretty much anything with explosions.

I'm currently working on a novel that's the first in a series set in my own superhero universe, but I have a bunch of other projects I plan on getting to some day. On occasion I write short stories, mainly for contests. I sketch and I'm hoping to teach myself to animate at some point, but it turns out you have to be able to draw first to be good at that... Who knew? I write music, mainly on piano, but I rarely ever finish it because braining is hard and music-ing make brain go GLAAAHHHH...

So, that's what's going on here! Preemptive sorry for the chaos. I try to manage it some, but it just keeps coming back, you know? I hope you enjoy a peek inside my crazy and legitimately (but hopefully artistically) deranged brain! If not, it's all cool. Not everything is for everyone.

Feel free to ask me about any of my stuff or anything writing/drawing/other art related or really just anything at all. I actually love meeting people, I'm just bad at it.

Auugh, yes!! Absolutely!! It's been rotating around in my brain so much recently, I need to exorcise these thoughts so I can go work on the book I'm actually trying to work on right now. TwT

It's mostly vague ideas right now, but I'll yap about what I've got, lol. All of it is also subject to change, so there's that too.

So, the zombie apocalypse has happened and it's been, idk, 30-40 years?? (Math is hard, I'm just throwing a number out there, lol.) But anyway, it's kinda established that this is the new normal. But this zombie apocalypse is...not what people thought the zombie apocalypse would be. At all.

I don't have all the details but the zombies aren't aggressive. Idk about the undead part, I am undecided rn (also unsure how it spreads, lots of stuff idk rn), but they're just kinda...there. They're just kinda...lethargic and maybe possibly even happy? Mildly pleased?

So people aren't really...mad about the apocalypse. The virus spread like wildfire and some people even sought it out to chase whatever high they think the zombies have. There are survivors, but most of those are treated as outcasts or old fashioned for not embracing this change.

FAST FORWARD, I've got my MC who idk her name, but she grew up during the zombie apocalypse so this is her 'normal'. She's lived here life under the wing of her dad, one of those supposed paranoid old timers, and has carried on his ways into adulthood. He dies of old age or something I haven't figured out and one of his wishes was for his ashes to be spread on some distant, remote mountain that she's never been to.

And because it's her DAD and she loved him dearly, she decides she'll do it even though she's never been that far away from where she grew up. And everybody thinks she's crazy for going. There might not even be anything out there, it's been so long since anybody's left that no one really knows for sure. It's just going to get her killed.

But screw what the zombies think, she goes anyway. And has a crazy adventure that I haven't completely thought through and don't want to spoil because I want to yap SO BAD but I also want to sell this book, lol. She finds out about the world outside her home town and whether there are other survivors or not (which I shall not spoil, lol) and that maybe, just maybe the zombies aren't quite as docile as they seem....
