Starting the video off with ragebait specifically for engagement as a hook before switching up, especially if it's bigotry. Like something like "gay people shouldn't have jobs....... is something I WOULD say if I was an asshole!"

The poster purposely mispronouncing a word specifically so that viewers will wither A) laugh about it in the comments or B) correct them, bc the algorithm means any kind of engagement = their account is pushed into more audiences

Accounts that do book reviews or talk about literature and then self promote their book at the end of the video. I'll never read your book now because I hate sneaky advertisement or engagement tactics

Artists or book vloggers who start the video by showing you the back of the canvas or the paper side of the spine instead of just showing you the title/artwork once again, to meet the engagement timer
