Walking down the street in Key West and literally stopped in my tracks when I saw this Vladimir Kush gallery. I can’t believe I got to see these in person!!

Oh my god. I had an amazing time on vacation. I planned a solo trip to Key West, FL. I wanted to see Hemingways home and I wanted to get as far south as I could to get away from Ohio. Plus, I love the ocean and I only got to go to Key West once as a teen while on a cruise but we were only there for a short amount of time. I didn’t really get to experience it but I have been wanting to go back. Especially to see Hemingways polydactyl cats (there’s 49 on the property and most of them are descendants of the cat he had when he lived there). My boyfriend ended up surprising me at the airport at home. I didn’t think he had gotten off work because he didn’t put the vacation time in soon enough but apparently for the last month he had been working on trying to make this trip with me happen and he did. It was the sweetest surprise and the nicest thing anyone has ever done for me. It made me cry, honestly. We had a great time. We explored as much as we could (most things are within a mile radius of each other down there), we went swimming, went to a sandbar and got to watch the sunset, toured Hemingways home (saw the 6 toed cats, his amazing pool and got to see his writers studio where he wrote a lot of his books), and checked out some art galleries. I had no idea they had so many there! The roosters there are like squirrels in the midwest lol. They just roam around freely, sometimes squawking in front of the door to the room we were staying in. It was such a fun and unique trip. I wanted to share some photos on here <3

had a hard conversation today and decided to walk 3 miles after work to clear my head. it helped. i really love how the shadow from the leaves look on the ground.
