Welp from the labs that are back already: severe anemia, iron deficiency and a referral to a weight loss clinic. I have another appointment in mid November and the dr wanted a reasonable weight loss goal until then: 15 lbs.

We had a really bad storm. I was stopping at home before going back to work, good thing I did because power has been out. Started the generator, checked the fish tanks and fed the dogs. I don't really need to go back to work, but a coworker is moving and her dogs are freaking out about the boxes so I'm giving her doggijuana to give them to try.

Work is SUPER dead this week, nothing going on at all.

Gotta say, the house is super quiet when I get home from work with just me and the pooches. But, it's peaceful.

I guess the next thing on the dr list is going back on anxiety meds. We'll see. When I was younger they made me zombie out and I didn't like that, but I know there is alot more options out there now.

#getting on the scale twice today really put me in my feels and all I want is a piece of pizza for dinner now #i need to go grocery shopping #since I've been the only one there the fridge is looking very empty

I hate going to new doctors. I'm at a new GP now and getting a full work up. Then at 1 pm I have another new gastro doctor to see. Yes I know I'm fat and need to lose weight, story of my life.

I can't whine about being fat and wanting to be a gym girly again without taking action or it's just talk.

I finally had day 1 back. I did 25 minutes on the treadmill and 30 on machines. I'll do longer walking, but with my knee still healing from the fracture and I get about 8-10k steps at work, I don't wanna hurt it.

I did have a few tears on the way there...being a big girl and going somewhere you know you are being judged is HARD. But day 1 is over with and I feel good. THIS FEELING is why I love going to the gym. I'm also not telling anyone IRL that I'm going, I want people to notice from results 💪🏽

I am READY to get out of work for the weekend. 45 more minutes.

The plans? A girls weekend with T! Facials and a movie tonight. Tomorrow we might be coming home with a little pet and then trying to get some nice sunset sunflower photos.

Her and I did go see Spiderman on Wednesday.... I fell asleep 🤦🏽‍♀️. What I saw was good, but A told me I missed alot. I knew going after work that was gonna happen.

My knee is still bothering me a bit. I need to wear the brace, like rn I'm not. How long does a fractured kneecap take to heal??? I know weight is also a big issue 🫤.

There's an adult fused glass class that I want to take, but I feel guilty if I do. It's a day after work, so I'd go straight from work there and not get out until 8. A is a senior and doing his own thing alot of the time, but if he's not, I'd feel guilty him sitting at home and me out having fun. Is that normal or am I putting too much mom guilt on myself?

Today after work I worked with my cards and did a new to me spread a dear friend posted about. I am moving in the right direction and need to keep going. I do need to let go of the past and rest when I feel like life is taking over. I'm working on my goals and know what I want. I'll get there. I really like this deck, more than my other 2.

I love the disco balls I got from the dollar tree, I put them on my plant stand right where the sunlight will hit them.

House is cleaned and the dogs nails are done. I was going to do more, but I need to rest my knee. Matilda is on in the background...growing up I felt connected to how she didn't fit in with her family.

Tomorrow morning is senior material pickup at 10 am, so I won't be into work until after that.

Oh I keep that Halloween stuff up all year, but I'm ready 🎃
