I just got rear ended. This is the 3rd time coming up to a red light that people weren't paying attention and just hit me. Didn't even brake. This guy said he's a Uber food delivery person and he was on his phone saying he was close...like really?!?! Luckily there isnt much damage, but man does my neck and head hurt from being thrown around. I was debating going to the hospital, but my dad made a problem about missing work. Maybe Tylenol will help.

Ok, but it's a beautiful summer Sunday morning and it will be snowing before you know it. I'm going to finish cleaning until my parents towels are done and then I'm going to go to a local farmers market/craft fair. I need stuff for my fridge anyways sooo.
Will I regret this later when it's time to finish cleaning? Maybe, but I need some sun and fresh air.
I didn't get much done around the house after the refrigerator got delivered. I called my parents and my mama was going to breakfast with her friends and my dad was going to go to the gym and then out to breakfast alone, so I showered and got dressed and joined him. It was nice. I don't get to hangout with my dad alone much because my mama gets jealous, I don't get it but π€·π½ββοΈ I hangout with her much more alone than my dad. Anyways, yesterday was a family graduation party I totally forgot about, so I was at that from 4 til 10. It's family we only see for weddings, funerals or big events, so it was really good to catch up. What's sad is they only live 10 minutes away, so (I think they are cousin's?) 2 sisters who are only a few years older than me are going to start to get together. Hopefully we do.
I didn't sleep in like planned, my body wanted to get the day started. I put a load of my parents laundry in and I'm cleaning my room. I'm one of those people who needs to tidy it up often because it gets out of control. I tend to just drop stuff when I get home from work but having clutter annoys me. And when my room flooded last week, I cleaned it up and threw out stuff, but I didn't put everything back and kept not doing it because I knew the kids were going to leave, so I was spending all my time after work hanging out with them. So now I'm feeling overwhelmed eventho I know it will only take me like an hour to do my whole room, bathroom, closet and laundry area. I'm about to put on Raymond in the background.
Tardis is barely limping now which is good. He is restricted to upstairs until bedtime, I figure going down 10 stairs once a day is OK to sleep with me if he wants to.
There's a bird show today and I'm soooooo tempted to go. I have a setup already since I've had birds before. I've been doing my research and I'm torn between a love bird and a dove, but leaning towards love bird. But then I'm like chick, just get another spider π. I mean I do wanna get another one, actually I will be soon from someone on fb, but I want a bird again. The kids always gave it attention and fed it and took care of them, so they get enough attention. I would say I'll just go and look around at the bird show, but we all know how I am with animals so I most definitely would be coming home with one. My thing is, this isn't a last minute thing, I've been talking about this for a good 6 months soooooo.........

Ummmm I guess I don't really do spontaneous much because I really had to think. I guess when I got Michelangelo the tortoise I had. Like right when I slid my card to pay, I was like WAIT DID IT GO THRU?!?! But as it turned out, my co-worker has huge farmland and when she was watching him while I was at my parents Arizona home, her dad fell in love with him. He grew up with turtles and asked to keep him, so it was a win win. I feel guilty, but it was best for Michelangelo and I still get updates and pics.
Glad I got up early to finish cleaning out the fridge, I was their first stop and they were here at 7:15. It fits perfectly! OK, time to start the laundry and cleaning up the kitchen, I see a nap in my future so better start now. But first, I need some tea or matcha.
6:30 am and I gotta finish moving everything because my new fridge will be here between 7 and 11 am. Watch, they don't get here until 11 π. My parents don't get their new washer and dryer until next week, so I'm still doing their laundry. Got like 4 loads of their to do plus my own. Mostly a relaxing cleaning day with the pooches.
I just wanna say it's bullshit when the non custodial parent gets a long period of time with the kids. He wasn't around until I had tumblr ex and R, and that 2 years inbetween them he didn't see them. He's behind in SO much child support and for years would skip seeing them. I can't wait for A to turn 18 and can finally decide his own schedule. Starting tomorrow I get them every other weekend until school starts. Really it's only a month and a week and I know I can deep clean the house and have lots of me time, but it's just hard when I'm used to atleast one of them being here 24/7 π«€. I'll find ways to keep myself busy, I'm just being a little mopey since they leave tomorrow.

It's support A's high school night at Portillos, so obviously we gotta. For 2 hours 75% of the sales go back to the school. I'll juat save the ground turkey and avocado salad for dinner tomorrow. No clue what I want, haven't had them for awhile. A is getting a big beef, I think T is getting a beef and cheddar croissant, we are getting 2 large cheese fries to split. Maybe I'll get a beef sandwich to split for dinner and lunch at work tomorrow.
Tardis is limping since this morning the kids told me. I got out of work early because we were dead, and checked his paw when I got home. I didn't see anything, so he probably just twisted it running around. Right away the kids start to worry since he's 13. When we go to dinner later, the pet store is right next to it so I will get him something for the pain to see if that helps or if I need to take him to the vet in a day or 2. It's not that bad.
I got my moldavite necklace a few weeks ago. I personally picked this one because it looks like a moon. I put it out with the strawberry moon.
I went to Lowe's on lunch, I never go to them because customer service effing sucks, but I'm glad I went because I got the only albo pothos they had!
With the heat we've been having, my roses I planted this year aren't doing good π

He was tiny and still living in a deli cup, and when I went to put a fruit fly in there for him to eat, he jumped to the part that closes. They are only in a deli cup until they are big enough for a small enclosure, but that's the scary part of the deli cup. He was my only one currently π₯Ί

Welp I'm done cleaning the water from the basement. I also vacuum and mopped the whole upstairs minus the kids room. For MY peace, I didn't go in the kids room today while I did cleaning. Tomorrow I will because I'll be damned if they go by sperm donor for his part of summer and leave my house junked up.
My parents invited us over today to play games, but I politely declined. Tardis doesn't like fireworks and I'd rather be home with the dogs. My mama didn't like that and made a comment about how I baby the dogs and she never stopped doing what she wanted to just because a dog was at home.... I said you can't compare us as dog owners because I'd never leave my dog at the vet to be put down alone and she changed the subject real fast. My pets are part of the family, so if I know they REALLY don't like something I'd much rather be home with them the 1 night a year π€·π½ββοΈ.
Yesterday and today we finished the big batch of cabbage soup I made. Tonight I'll be making bacon cheese burgers for dinner with cucumber salad and potato salad. Also made a bunch of ants on a log to snack on, love it as a crunchy snack. Just gonna have a movie and game night with the kids.
My sump pump keeps beeping and idk why. I think it's because the power is still out tomorrow and it's running with the generator, but I'm not entirely sure and don't wanna ask my pops because then he will want the plumber guy to come over RIGHT NOW. I'm keeping an eye on it.
