I reached my one year natural hair anniversary !!! And I posted my growth on youtube ( link at the bottom) Y’all, let me tell you, I loved a part of myself I never thought I could love before. Prior to going relaxed I never felt beautiful in my natural hair, my mother would always make it seem like such an annoyance and burden whenever she would comb it or style it as a child, plus i had extremely thick hair at the front, so to make matters easier on the both of us I relaxed it... Bad decision, okay no, it was the WORST decision I had made,  i had breakage there, breakage here, every where a b-b-breakage! I had heat damage for days, hair falling out, it was just a hot mess, unhealthy, was not growing. So to make this long story (cause i could go on for days) short I started to transition july 2013 and big chopped all my relaxed ends april 27th 2014. And now I look at my hair as the most beautiful thing ever created, my curls are so unique and precise ! Who else has hair look ours? You are fearfully and wonderfully made :) i love my HAIR ! and i never felt more beautiful !!
