I'd go through the past year all over again without a second thought if that ensured I'd still come out the end with her, but I can't shake that tiny pinch of regret. She scooped me up when I needed to be held the most, but sometime I wish fate had been a little more patient with me. I wish I had gotten out from under the influence of my superiors and shown all my colors. I wish I had loved a little more, so that maybe I could love her better. I wish I had even hurt a little more, so that I'd understand further and possibly hurt her a little less. I wish I had done more for myself, before I vowed to always put another first. I wish I had furthered myself and done better for myself, so that I could do better her. I simply wish I had prepared to love her better.

I don't have time to teach you to do the same.

In other words: "you're not getting laid for AT LEAST another week".

If it's this bad a year in, how bad is gonna be when we're 20 deep?
