Frank knows these tiny bursts of affection are always the opening act. He had hoped time apart would cool things down, letting them get back on the road in January with minimal collateral damage. Instead, now that they’re stuck alone together for a week, it’s apparently just more of the same. They both seem doomed to this never-ending loop where Gerard never puts a title on anything and Frank keeps waiting for this time to be different.

I literally JUST finished drafting chapter 4 of Formula.

I have some hardcore editing to do before posting but it should be up no later than tonight!!

Also: I’m just gonna apologize ahead of time to anyone reading along. It’s not gonna be pretty 😢

So anything I could post this week from my current WIPs would give away too many spoilers and surprises lmaooooo.

I can’t show anything I’ve written for chapter 4 of Formula without giving away too much of the drama, I’m at a point in @jdlowkey’s birthday fic where anything I share now would ruin the surprise, and there’s not much of my BBB I could post that hasn’t already been shared or would, yet again, spoil the surprise!

However, I have plenty of WIPs that are on hold for the sake of completing other stuff first, so this week I’m sharing a snippet from a horror AU fic I started a few months ago where Frank and Gerard are an old married couple who take long vacation to a cabin just to get away from it all.

Obviously, things go horribly wrong.

I’ll keep major details vague for now, but this is a shorter fic that I would looooove to finally get back to once my more pressing fics are completed.

I missed WIP Wednesday this week 😩😩

Wednesday was such a fustercluck at work that I totally spaced! Also I have some friends in town at the moment and have been relaxing as much as possible.

So for my WIP I started drafting chapter 4 of Formula for Ending last weekend and I am very close to finishing! It took me DAYSSSSS to finally build up to the headspace I needed to write this chapter because I already knew chapter 4 gets pretty bleak. But I am fully locked in now and am maybe 2.5k words (ish) from being done!

It was extremely difficult for me to pick a snippet without spoiling too much of the drama still to come for Formula, but I think I found the perfect spot to share. Enjoy! Or don’t…idk. Is that how writing angst is supposed to work? People are supposed to yell at me, right??

Very excited to be so close to the end of this chapter because the next one will finally - FINALLY - be the happy ending I’ve been promising for this series since 2012.

And it’s gonna be so gross and cute and fluffy that anyone who reads it is gonna have cavities in their teeth afterwards 😘
