I think people who don’t watch Markiplier fail to see what he’s doing. He’s creating a movement. A movement of strength and love. He’s not afraid to tell people what he’s thinking. He’s a good, pure human being. A rare type, but he shares it with whoever he can. He wants people to pay the kindness forward. He pushes to people to further improve themselves in every way possible. Whether it be for one to love themselves, or love another, he’s there to support who he can. He raises money for others. He does charity livestreams, raising what he can and giving it to organizations who deserve. He shows his emotions in the rawest form. He’s thankful for the people who are there for him and with him. On several occasions, he has cried, he has broke down on camera, but that’s alright. There are people on the other side of the screen who cried with him, and supported him. He instills a power into each of his watchers to continue on what he is doing. Many people have. People are finding inspiration in a man who started off his path in a dark place, but he pulled through, putting his knowledge into others hands. And yet, he still has his flaws, but he is so much more than them, and we love him for who he is I know, by experience he has done so. He’s inspired me to help others. He’s helped me become a better person who knows how to love others and myself. And even if I’ve never met him, and he doesn’t know of my existence, he’s making an impact on my life. He’s making an impact on so many others too. And I think it’s these things that people brush over because he’s “just a gamer” he’s just “another YouTube in it for the money”. He’s not. He’s in it for so much more than that.
