Malnutrition rates in Cambodia remain stubbornly high; almost 40 percent of children under 5 are chronically malnourished (stunted), over 28 percent are underweight and 10.9 percent are acutely malnourished (wasted). One out of five women are underweight.

Purple Buddha Project is fundraising to provide 25 thousand meals for children of Cambodia. But we need YOUR help to make this a reality.

Please take a look at my Fundraiser “25,000 Meals for Cambodia” and consider my proposal to provide meals for school children who are sponsored to attend school to create long term sustainable change in this country. This is an opportunity for you to make a difference in the lives of young children in Cambodia. Even though I dropped out of college, I realize that I was very fortunate to know what school was like and got to experience childhood in school, but it’s important to remember MANY children in the world are not as fortunate as we have been. Life is what you make it- so make it beautiful for child today.
