More on Wade (Charlie’s character) and Calvin (Josh’s character):
“Calvin’s also extremely concerned about his son Wade, especially since he’s the only one of his children who hasn’t fled the nest for success on the mainland. Calvin and Wade drive each other nuts because all they’ve got is each other,” McKeown says. Especially since Wade’s mom passed away. And because of Calvin’s tragic past, he’s very protective of his eldest. Probably too protective. All of Calvin’s fears, he puts onto Wade.”
