People often say, “everything in my life lead me to this moment,” and today was one of those days for me. 3 1/2 years ago I moved to Los Angeles, primarily to pursue acting, and yet I found myself becoming part of this great, big community. I’ve felt like part of the tribe for so long, and today made it official. So many people on the community have welcomed me with open arms and have all helped get me to this moment. Thanks to all of you who’ve helped support me throughout the years. I hope you know I’m there for you as well. A special thanks to the Rabbis, friends, co-workers, and my teacher, who took time out on a Thursday to be there. One of my favorite lyrics in a song is “I don’t really know where I’m heading, just enjoying the ride,” and I feel like so many things in my life, one way or another, including to what got me here today, even from years and years ago. I knew I get a good feeling, but words can’t express how much my ceremony, and everyone and everything is to me. I feel like this has helped me become a better person in so many ways, and even better, I feel like the journey has a great new beginning.
