A/N: I was watching a movie named The Impossible, where there was a scene of the husband meeting his injured wife and calming her down while their babies were watching them. It made me cry sm and the dialogues are inspired from that scene, and that's why I have written the dialogues in English. I hope you all will enjoy it! <3
Periods were not easy for Ulfat.
Cramps, blood, pain, weakness, those seven days felt like hell. She couldn't move from the bed for at least two days due to the pain.
Thankfully, Rehman was there for her. For those seven days, he became the caretaker of Ulfat. He would ask her if she needed something or what she wanted to eat. He wouldn't allow Ulfat to do any work with her own hands for those seven days.
Ulfat was grateful for Rehman's care. She couldn't even think of surviving those days without him.

Ulfat was feeling restless that day.
Even though she was assuring herself that everything was right, somehow she was sweating and feeling anxious without any reason.
Aashiya was in her room, as she was busy in a painting, when she needed her mother for some help. "Ammi" she called her mother for more than one time as the answer didn't come from the other side.
Whereas, Ulfat was sweating and breathing heavily. She couldn't understand the sudden change of her breathing pattern. Everything was going normal when suddenly she started feeling dizzy and went to her bedroom for taking rest.
Aashiya decided to check on her mother as she was still not giving any reply to her calls. She moved towards her bedroom and saw Ulfat breathing heavily.

Aashiya was panic stricken when she saw her mother lying on the bed while her eyes looked droopy. "Ammi kya hua aapko?" All she could ask her mother, as she asked for assurance that her mother was okay.
"Aashu beta, can you call your abbu and tell him to call our family doctor..?" Ulfat's voice was becoming slow as she started feeling dizzy again, her eyes becoming blurry and vision slowly losing its sight, she fell unconscious.
"AMMI" Aashiya's voice was filled with fear as she saw her mother falling unconscious in front of her. Not doing any delay, she immediately called Rehman to inform him about the situation.

Rehman was busy with his paperwork of his next shipment when his phone buzzed, and the screen showed the name of Ulfat.
"Hello, abbu, ammi has fallen unconscious. She isn't answering my calls. " Aashiya broke down into tears when he heard his father's calm and assuring voice.
"Baby, don't cry, ha? Papa is coming soon, till then you remain beside your ammi, okay? Don't leave her alone now. I will call the doctor."
Quickly, he took out the key of his car and drove back to the Haveli as soon as possible he could have been. He wanted to remain by her side and comfort her.

The ride from his office to the Haveli was not an easy one. All he could think was about Ulfat.
He had already informed their family doctor about the situation. Rehman just wanted to be with Ulfat at that moment. He was becoming restless as the car reached the house.
Rehman was too panicked to acknowledge the servants of the house as he reached his bedroom to see Ulfat.
On the other hand, the doctor had completed checking her, and he assured the panicked girl that her mother was absolutely fine.

As he reached the room, he saw Aashiya, who was still panicking about Ulfat's condition. As she saw her father approaching, she ran towards her and tightly hugged him, as if he was her only lifeline to support.
"Everything is fine, beta. Papa is here na, she'll be fine soon. Dont worry, my baby. " he kissed the head of the poor baby who was still crying for her mother.
He moved towards the bed and greeted the doctor. The doctor informed him about her condition. "There's nothing to get worried about. It was just a sudden case of collapse as her haemoglobin level dropped suddenly. As she's in her menstruation cycle, the sudden change triggered the pain, which caused this irritation and resulted in this condition. She'll open her eyes in two to three minutes."

As the doctor left the room, he adjusted himself over the edge of the bed and slowly moved his hands on the head of Ulfat carefully so that she didn't wake up. He whispered to her ears, "Hey.. I am here.. no need to be scared now. "
Ulfat slowly blinked her eyes as his words left her ears. She was finally relieved to see him after what it felt like she was going to die.
"Hi ammi." Aashiya gave a shy smile as she kissed her mother's red cheeks. The poor baby was finally looking relaxed after watching her mother feeling safe in the arms of her father.
"You're gonna be alright, dear." he slowly kissed her trembling lips as a stray drop of tear fell from Ulfat's eyes. She was thanking god for sending this angel in her life. She couldn't even think of living her life without him.
"Y-you know, I was scared," the bridge finally collapsed as Ulfat broke down into tears. Even though she was calming her daughter when she was freaking out in fear, but internally, Ulfat was fighting her own fear of survival. She doubted if she could open her eyes again.
