Lick my taint. When V pressed Claire about how to get a drink named after them Claire said something to the effect of “snuff it, in a grand blaze of glory” THATS EXACTLY WHAT JACKIE DID BRO.
Was he a certified NC legend? Perhaps not. But he died robbing the fuck outta Arasaka, yorinobu at that. Not to mention that most of the folks in night city don’t even know that Saburo’s death was patricide. As far as anyone knows, two relatively unknown Heywood Mercs strolled into konpeki, robbed them, killed Saburo, killed a metric fuckton of other Arasaka soldiers, and nearly made it out intact.
Jackie may have been naive and way in over his head, but he went in anyway. And you know what, he made it outta that hotel, WITH the chip. In the end he got the job done, and gave his life for it. That gonk somewhat successfully robbed the heir apparent of Arasaka, one of the largest most power, and most hated corps. And by god did he earn himself a damn drink.
