“Okay,wait, wait, what would you tell me if I asked you if I was pretty? You’d say no? I don’t think it’s hard to talk to you.”

“I’d probably just shrug at you, honestly. I hate those questions.”

Marisol scrunched her nose, half amused and half perplexed because she’d always thought Dallon had been painfully adorable and with that she’d equated that he would have been confident in his ability to talk to people. “Why not?” She questioned, head tilted to the side but with a small smile painted on her lips. “You’re not offending me.”

“You haven’t asked if you were pretty or how the outfit looked yet. Also because..idunno, it’s easy to talk to you.”

“You’re a good friend. Not many people would walk someone to their room after they’ve bruised their ass.” He teased.

“You’re the only friend I got dude, gotta at least do something for you once in a while.”

“Really? I hit on guys a lot. I mean, they never know I’m hitting on them, so maybe that’s why I never experience them disliking it.–It depends on what is said. I won’t slap a guy, unless he says something disgusting.”

“Maybe it’s because of that adorable thing you said.”

“It’s a gift, honestly. The ability to just offend without even trying.– Well not with that attitude. Just say or do whatever comes to your mind. That’s what I do. Whenever I flirt and a guy responds to it, I’m genuinely surprised…Then again, from the way it seems, guys are a lot easier to please.”

“Guys are less likely to like it when a girl hits on them. Girls are more likely to slap you.”

“I guess it was because of my question. Sorry if it was too intrusive. I speak without thinking constantly. I feel like a lot of people take what I say the wrong way.–Yeah, see that’s a good thing. You don’t treat people like trash. Someone is bound to appreciate that. Especially people who are tired of jerks. So that in itself is sexy.”

“You’re okay, I tend to offend people in the wrong way. Have since I hit puberty. It’s gonna be a while before I find someone who finds anything I do sexy, but thanks.” 

“And Fatso the clown isn’t? Okay, how about we settle for the hamburgler. You’re as sexy as the hamburgler.” Stassi joked, laughing along with him. “Why did you say shockingly? As if it’s such a surprise? You’re attractive. I’m honestly surprised that it was just one girl.–Friendzone kinda guy? Well at least that tells me that you’re not a jerk.”

“Hamburgler is so short, I’ll take over being this tree that I am.” Smiling at her. “Because you asked if I was, and also when I open my mouth it’s like I talk before thinking sometimes. Really? That makes me feel better, alright. I’m your friendly guy who won’t treat you like trash.”

     “Watching Indiana Jones makes me want to both go to Disneyland and switch my major to Archaeology so I can become him, and go on amazin’ adventures in far off countries. Maybe find my own priceless mystical ancient treasure. Who is with me?” 

“So we can almost die like 10 thousand times? Idunno.”

Blue felt ten times worse when he saw that he’d completely knocked the other to the ground, and it only worsened when he realized that it was Dallon. “Dallon - are you okay?” He repeating, ignoring his friend’s statement. “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to knock you over, I was just, I’m trying to get back to my room. Did I hurt you?”

“I’m fine dude, probably bruised my ass, but it’s fine.” He answered him, shrugging. “Come on, I’ll walk with you to your room.”

“What do you think about usually when you’re around a girl?”

“Usually ways not to offend her just by me talking. Or trying to think of ways to make sure the conversation keeps going. Not much of a talker lately.”

“Look not that I support this ending like at all but Fez did have his charm he ended up with the girl didn’t he? What happens when you try and talk to them?”

“He did, but that ending was stupid. Don’t support it. Also, doesn’t mean I’ll get the girl. I just kinda…stutter sometimes. Space out. Go quiet. Sorta how I am right now.” 

There was no nice way to describe how Blue currently looked, considering the state he was currently in. The fact that his husband had left and that his fraternity was falling apart, not to mention his grades flopping because of all of this, was really starting to take it’s toll. The bag’s under his eyes were huge, considering he’d definitely been abusing his medication and staying awake for hours instead of properly sleeping at all, but this had just put him on edge now more than ever. His anxiety had completely taken over, and just when he thought his heart was going to pound of his chest, he grabbed his things from the desk he sat at, all but sprinting out of the library. Of course he should’ve seen it coming, he had barely been paying attention to where he was going, not that he really could’ve if he wanted to, running right into someone. “Fuck!” He spat, as his things went flying to the ground. “Sorry - sorry, I didn’t mean to yell at you.” His next words came as a whisper, as he quickly leaned down to collect his stuff with shaky hands. “I’m sorry, are you okay?”

Dallon went body first to the ground, pretty sure he bruised something. He didn’t have to look, he knew his voice. Looking at his friend, He didn’t even care if he was okay, he changed the subject. “Blue, you need to get some rest, dude.”
