Alex walked up to the hostess and gave his name she then escorted them to a table. Alex pulled out the chair for Troian and pushed it in for her after she sat down. The waiter came up handing Alex and Troian each a wine list. “This is already an amazing night, no noodles being thrown around or three kids eager to get away from the table so they mash their food in their face and run into the living room” Alex chuckled. “So tell me a little bit about yourself, where are you from? do you have siblings? you know the basics” he said with a smile.

“I just thought maybe I didn’t make a good imression, I tend to do that sometimes or my kids scare people off.” he chuckled as he he laughed “Same, honestly, I love a meal where I’m not cleaning off half of what was on their plates”

Alex smiled “So how have you been since I last saw you?” he said as he began to drive towards their destination. “I’m happy you agreed to come out with me tonight, I was almost afraid you’d reject me” he chuckled.

Ever since Alex had suggested dinner, Troians mind had been going a mile a minute. It was the day of her weekly therapy visit so she knew the kids would already have their grandmother over but she was still nervous. She hadn’t dated anyone since Keegan and it was nerve wracking especially considering she had two kids as well. She had settled on a plain black dress with stockings and heeled boots for the date. It was coming into summer but the nights were still cooling down slightly. When she heard the knock on the door, she walked over to open it, kissing Alex on the cheek in greeting whilst holding Phillip in one hand. “Hey, I’m just about ready to go” She smiled at him, slipping Phillip into the swing by the couch and tucking a blanket around him before going to bid goodbye to Avery. “Ava, when The Lion King finishes, it’s bedtime okay? I love you. Be good baby” She kissed the blonde who was intently watching the screen in front of her on the forehead before following Alex out.

Alex had gotten his dress jacket on and fixed his sleeves as he stuck his phone and wallet in his pockets. His kids were with their grandmother and that gave him the perfect chance to take Troian out. Alex picked up a bouquet of flowers and smiled as he reached Troian’s home. He got out from his car and walked up to the door knocking on it as he took a step back.

Alex: It sounds like a date, I’ll pick you up at seven?

Alex: Hey gorgeous.

Alex: I was wondering if maybe you’d be interested in dinner? Maybe just us?

It is, I think Sean could do without it though.
