wait ok ithink i see the mechanism. ep1 & ep2 are fictional infiction (🤯🤯🤯🤯) ➡️ suggests ep3 would be fictional too right...? i think..... our ange is a later evolution of the specific ep3 fragment's circumstabces; in all other fragments she lives a much better most likely unbothered orphan life. freddy's power is that in tough circumstances she can only save one person at a time (re: her miracle, cicada's secret ending, etc).... so in seeking an outcome where any character but especially an ange would be most motivated to get her brother out of the loop, she found an ending where ange is maximum tortured aka eva is the killer/survivor. there's so so much room for murderous intent among all 18 characters so it could be that absolutely everyine did it or at least part of it within the infinite recursions, this is just the one instance where a vindictive and despaired enough ange could be found
