Let racists, bigots, Nazis, and white supremacists be torn to pieces.

Let their blood run in the streets.

Let those who would defend them and act as apologists see the shame of their action, and let them see the horror and the stain of the acts of those who they would protect.

I needed some time to think and process how I was going to address the attack in Charlottesville. But here it is. This was domestic terrorism. Neo-Nazis, Klansmen, and facists flooded the streets of UVA, a school built by slaves, and shouted “Heil Trump,” while flying Nazi or Confederate flags, and carrying torches. A Nazi drove into a crowd of people protesting Nazis, killing 1, and injuring many more.

Nazis show no regard for human life. They want to kill Jewish people, POC, and lgbtq+ people. To them, the only people worth saving are cisgendered heterosexual, white people. Their very ideologies are rooted in anti-Semitism, antziganism, homophobia, and racism.

Do NOT call them “alt-right.” Call them what they are. They are Nazis. Don’t forget that.

And one more thing. Don’t forget that Nazism is based in antisemitism and racism. Boost the voices of Jewish people and POC. Don’t forget that they’ve been fighting against this for years.
