Tech giant Apple has laid off hundreds of contract employees. The company which had previously assured the contract employees that their jobs would not be affected, has shocked them to attack them recently. All of them are employees hired by third party agencies and work with Apple employees on the respective projects. Apple has cracked down on such contract workers. According to company sources, Apple has also fired contract employees to cut costs. The company fired the workers, who had 15-month contracts with Apple, to wait until their contracts expire.
