In my comic I tried to have them speak at least a bit medieval sounding. I don't know how well this actually worked or if it's something I want to bother with in future comics in their realm. So I am asking those who have read it what they think.

This comic series is set within the lore of the original Ninjago series focusing on the first spinjitzu master's adventures in a medieval fantasy realm.

When it is released I would greatly appreciate comments to help motivate me on the next comic in the series where I will introduce Kareena and her sheep Flapjack. Those who've been following me will know who they are.

For now I'm calling the series "The First" but if anyone has a better name Idea I'd love to hear it. I can't say this is a very good one right now.

Update

It's now out

I used sims 2 to build the castle I designed for a comic to help me with drawing it in different angles.

I couldn't build the full main tower or put the tent and stuff because of the limits the game has but I just tried to get the main shapes of the castle.

It's not perfect but it did help with drawing the castle. Actually the maze I built to go with it was way more helpful as a reference.

I used a teddy bear the game had to represent the characters scale since they are lego people and because the sims did not scale with the size of the I wanted for the bricks on top of the castle. 🏰

I haven't really done too much action before in my comics so this is a learning experience.

The sketch stage is complete. It is 18 pages divided into three pages per image. It should work as a scrolling comic.

In other unrelated news

Baby Raccoons

They were just in an old rain barrel which was surprising to find. This is the first time I have seen raccoon babies this small.

Here is their mother. She has since moved her babies to a better spot that's not so out in the open.

I did not touch them. DON'T TOUCH WILD ANIMALS. Raccoons are cute but they can hurt you badly if they feel threatened.

Those who have been following me or whatever you call it on this platform, will already know about this project.

This comic will follow the first spinjitzu master in his youth on his adventures in a fantasy medieval themed realm where he will meet new new characters both friend and foe.

This comic series will follow the original lore of the original Ninjago show. No oni dragon stuff, sorry I know a lot of you like that stuff. However for people who like Ninjago before the reboot this may be something you can jam to. Or not, you'll just have to read it to see. I hope people can get enjoyment out of this regardless.

I wasn't sure if I wanted to show this design until I finished the comic it's for. These kinds of posts do pretty poorly but I had a lot of fun with designing this and I wanted to show it off.
