I felt like I needed to write this since I’ve seen how people reacted to another comic’s important event. I do want to ease some worries about Candice—he is similar to Wagyu in terms of storytelling and his role in the comic, the decision to write the infection starting on episode 1 is very much to drive the story forward in the comic IN GENERAL and not shock value. I have a LOT planned for Candice as a character! I also wanted to make it happen day one as it will be a lot less shocking considering that you guys are less attached to these characters right now and his character will immediately have the “got infected” status with his overall development.

I will say however that despite this being a lot of psychological horror, there is quite a bit of violence and gore due to the zombie theming. Kind of inevitable here but it is in the warnings for a reason!

I wrote this the night before release and this May Be Choppy a little since I got a little anxious about public reception.
