Speaking of the people she gets taken advantage of, the men in this film are just RANCID and it is so good for the story it's trying to tell. The only man that is ever good in this movie is Dawn's father (which I was SHOCKED about considering how Pastor is in the musical) every other bitch is just the worst man on planet Earth. Something that this movie does well is making you absolutely despise these men so you cheer when they get killed. Brad is built up to be the worst man on Earth (me and my friend genuinely believed movie Brad shot his girlfriend and we weren't shocked considering what he had acted like before) and I CHEERED when his fuck ass died After watching the movie I fully understand why they took the direction they did with the musical. The movie isn't really a fun time, it's very depressing. While I did laugh (that was mostly from the amount of penises in this movie, holy shit are there a ton) it was mostly just a whole big feeling sad hour for Dawn. Taking this concept and making it a campy comedy is, what I believe, one of the best things that could have happened to Teeth. Don't get me wrong, the movie is still a great piece of fiction, it still sends a message that needed to be sent ESPECIALLY during that time when abstinence was taught almost EVERYWHERE. tldr: I love dawn in the movie but i still like the musical better...obviously.
