You got me in a ramble mood so here’s me going off about my idea of nuru

In one of the og descriptions of nuru she was described as “someone who has been kept on a tight leash her whole life” and that the 7k journey lets her truely be herself. I like to interpret this as nuru being someone who wants desperately to take charge, someone boastful and speaks her mind clearly , but burdened with being a child unable to fully be who she wants due to her family’s desire to cling to tradition and routine. My interpretation of nuru on the journey is that she’s so overwhelmed with the freedom she has she goes out of her way to brag and boast about her titles , achievements, and skills. She’s pompous! And a little silly about it too, I always imagine her talking in this fancy way where she’s almost grotesquely poetic about everything she says , to the utter dismay of hugo ( nuru; ah, i see the journeys eldest seems to have gotten himself in quite the kerfuffle! Art thou in need of medicinal aid :•) ? Hugo after getting his ass kicked; I’m begging you to be normal )

The best word I would use to describe Nuru is Sardonic

So like. I had my whole moment a while back with the vat7k group through us in this modern au so u can go back to that ramble from WAY back for that (should be in my ramble tag I think) BUT post hs var and Hugo have KISSED but never got passed this awkward stage where they actually started/ended a relationship.

They kind of drift away sadly for a year or two :( varians like 20-21 and he’s living on his own! Hurray!
